Farm Cottage near Steep Rock. Cottage is 7 km (6-8 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2026) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.

You will watch the most amazing sunsets on our brand-new wrap-around deck or, watch them from your own private beach. The cabin is about 2.5 to 3 hours North of Winnipeg on Highway 6. The cabin is newly renovated and sleeps 7 (max 5 adults). The cabin is equipped with wifi, cell phone service, and 2 televisions with access to Netflix and Prime Video .

The Hobbit House (Hot Tub)

This guest suite with a private entrance, is attached to our main house, where your hosting family lives. It's located in a quiet part of town tucked into the trees with a river and walking path across the street. It would be perfect if your travelling here for work or just need a relaxing getaway. This guest suite was once a chicken coop, now turned into a modern mid-century style house that we lovingly have called the Hobbit House because of it's low ceilings.

Welcome to Lazy Days Retreat. Our cottage is nestled in the trees and is only a 1 minute walk from the water. It's the perfect place to unwind after a fun day in the sun, on the water or on trails. It has all the amenities you'll need so you can just sit back and relax! We are walking distance to Steep Rock Beach Park, the boat launch and are just a few minutes' drive to the beautiful Steep Rock Cliff's.
