Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Erie

We had a wonderful time! Atmosphere was awesome, very relaxing! The decor adorable, very clean. Mark and Susan was amazing to work with. The response time in communication was outstanding with Mark and Susan. Thank you again for a wonderful get away!

We wanted a quiet out of the way place just to relax and enjoy our 4 dogs And Jessica's place gave us that. The dogs had room to roam around and lots of new smells to experience and we were able to just sit and relax by the river or up under the old-growth trees. It was wonderful!!

My friends and I were looking for a nice, quiet place to stay, and we stumbled upon Diana’s cabin. It was everything we wanted: private, close to the river, and clean for a pleasant stay. Diana was very easy to work with and was available throughout our whole stay. We truly had a great time and have already talked about coming back!

This was our second visit and it was just as cozy as the first for our family getaway. Loved seeing the geese and their babies. Everyone enjoyed the coffee bar and the view - including watching all the wildlife.

Aaron's cabin was absolutely beautiful, clean and stocked pretty well. The property itself was serene and waking up to turtles on the beach, deer running around the water was perfect! walked the trails, pet and visited the horses. Exactly what we needed for a weekend! Already planning on going again next year!

The cabin gave off an immediately peaceful and relaxing vibe- beautiful decor, immaculately clean, good lighting, comfortable furniture, and upscale touches. The cabin fully takes advantage of the beautiful river views, with the loft bed, living room, deck, and lower fire pit areas all looking out on the river. Even though we only stayed two nights and our full day was very rainy, we were able to get cozy during the rain and even enjoy the outdoor air with coffee on the covered deck. The kitchen had great cookware and was very clean. The loft and ladder is super cool, but be aware the ladder is steep and high! My 8 year old especially loved going up and down. The hosts were very responsive and generous with a late check out. We also enjoyed the area- Penn state creamery ice cream in Emlenton and a fun family riverside bike ride and nice looking restaurants we’d love to visit another time in Foxburg. Recommend this place to even a discerning traveler.

What beautiful little house on the lake! We wanted to have a peaceful getaway and it was the perfect spot. There’s surprisingly a lot to do around town and gorgeous sights around every turn. The house was cozy and had all the amenities we needed for a weekend. Shwaan was super helpful and very kind as well! She got back to us quickly and helped us with the bug situation haha! Would stay here again :)

We enjoyed our stay and the amenities by the lake. We also rented his tiny house next door. Larry was very easy to work with and very communicative throughout, ensuring we had what we needed, especially after a storm came through. Definitely worth it for the location and amenities.

Amazing cabin - the property was clean and the space fantastic for our group of 15. Really appreciated all of the little details - a solid grill, a great hot tub, and lots of relaxing space for everyone. Thanks again for a lovely experience!

This is our second stay at the cabin, and our third stay with Darren as a host. He is wonderful, and the cabin is wonderful. The location is serene, and the bird watching is amazing.

The place was well represented in the photos. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, the hot tub was clean and fully functional. The property was beautifully maintained both inside and outside. This was ideal place to recharge. We were provided with everything needed to have a relaxing trip. The setting is unique and serene. The sounds of nature were all around us. It was obvious to us that the hosts put a lot of care into this home.

Liz’s place was the perfect home base for our trip — clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was quiet but still close to everything we needed. Check-in was seamless, and Liz was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

This is our second time staying at the A Frame and it won’t be the last. It’s an incredibly peaceful and homey place that makes me feel so rested. We love it here!

The cabin is very well kept, and has everything you could need for a wonderful getaway. The pond is lovely and the trail is great. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a nice, peaceful vacation for you and your significant other!

The cabin was beautiful and clean, I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to visit Mosquito Lake. There’s a place to drop boats/kayaks in walking distance, along with close access to bait shop. Boat rentals on the south side of the lake was a short drive and easy to get to. Would be interested in renting again in the future!

Beautiful, clean cabin with all listed amenities. Spacious with plenty of sleeping and bathroom space. Fully stocked efficient kitchen. Hottub works and is very roomy. Peaceful woodland scenery. Neighbors seemed visually curious about us.

We had the most magical stay at this cozy and charming cabin for our weekend getaway to Cook Forest! The views from the windows were absolutely breathtaking — especially while watching the rain fall through the trees. The reading nook felt like something out of a storybook, and our pup felt instantly at home with all the thoughtful touches, from the basket of toys to the convenient tie-out. The key was waiting for us inside the cabin, which made settling in seamless and stress-free after a long drive. The cabin itself was spotless and incredibly comfortable. You can tell it’s well cared for—clean linens, cozy furniture, and everything we needed was right there. It had a warm, inviting feel that made us instantly relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was the ideal setting for a quiet getaway, and we only wish we had stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, for more than just one night!

Wonderful cabin only a few minutes from Ellicotville. Very peaceful and a great place to relax. Lots of good restaurants in town, including our favorite the Ellicotville Brewing company! Good brews and good eats. Lots of outdoors activities near by including skiing, hiking, a fantastic state park, walks, etc.. The backyard had an amazing fire pit! Owner was welcoming and flexible! Perfect little cabin in the woods!

If you want peace and quiet surrounded by nothing but nature this is the place to go! The stream down the lane made every morning walk that much better! There's plenty to do in a short drives distance but we made it a point just to leave the chaos behind and enjoy what the forest has to offer! The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful and cozy. This was by far one of the best stays we've had anywhere!
