Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Elsinore

We had a great snow weekend at our Big Bear getaway thanks to this lovely property. Check in was easy. Well stocked with essentials, lots of space, plenty of rooms for multiple families, the house also included games & pool table. The kids’ room had the best view of the lake, I was a little jealous😂. The host was very attentive when a moisture detector alarm went off, but there was nothing out of the ordinary that we observed. They sent a maintenance person over to check it out & resolve it in a matter of minutes. No issues whatsoever. Several feet of fresh snow had fallen so we had snow play in the backyard while ducks swam by. Did some sledding at a nearby lot we spied from across the lake. A dip in the jacuzzi at sunset amidst the snow and lake was a perfect and relaxing way to close out the fun. In the summer we’re thinking of returning so we can rent a boat and have our own private lake access! Can’t say enough great things!

Our stay at Dee’s place was absolutely amazing. The space is nothing short of beautiful. Dee was so kind and responsive from the moment we got there meeting us and showing us everything. She even left snacks and a bottle of champagne in the fridge for us. The pool and hot tub were great and the views were fantastic. This is absolutely one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed out and Dee is an outstanding and kind host!

Great location, house is very big with lots of room. Game room was nice and pool table upstairs was nice! Had the fireplace going and having a fire on the patio was alot of fun, nice and relaxing. Jacuzzi needs some tlc . Would book again!

A true sanctuary for the soul. This house in Idyllwild is everything I didn’t know I needed—and more. Just one hour away from the city, it felt like stepping into a different world. The moment we arrived, I could feel my nervous system start to unwind. Between the river flowing right through the backyard, the private sauna and Jacuzzi, and the peaceful stillness of the forest, it was the perfect space to reconnect with my body, mind, and spirit. Every detail in the home was curated with intention and care. If you’re someone who values health, vitality, and deep rest—this place has everything: nature, healing, beauty, and tranquility. It’s also an amazing space for families—my little one thrived playing in nature and we were all able to slow down and reset together. The host was warm, responsive, and made us feel completely at home. I left feeling nourished and restored, and I can’t wait to return. This place is a gem and has become my go-to getaway for peace, presence, and health.

This beach house is everything and more. You won’t want to leave! We came out to celebrate my birthday and just relax for the holiday with local family. We had a great time. It was a bit chilly so we didn’t get to use the backyard as much as we would’ve liked but sitting in the living room with the door open and listening to the waves was priceless. Heather was so friendly and easy to communicate with. We had everything we needed. Dolphin and surfer watching every day and we even saw a whale. We will definitely be back!!! One tip: try to have a compact car so you can park in the driveway spot. Although, we never had trouble with street parking. My hiccup was the street sweep is early am and I was scared to get a ticket! Easy to work around though and well worth it for the location.

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much, such a luxurious home with lots of little details to enjoy. We all had a turn in the sauna, in the master bathroom shower. The hot tub was perfect, and the lake was just steps away so we could fish and swim as we liked! The kitchen was extremely well stocked, I was able to buy groceries and cook multiple meals and had everything I needed. We had so much fun in the game room. We had an issue with WiFi but the host was prompt in addressing it!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront property! The house was spacious enough for our group of eight and our dog, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The private dock was a major highlight, perfect for morning coffee, fishing, or just soaking in the views. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook meals comfortably, which made our stay even more convenient. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make us feel at home! Our husbands loved the fishing right off the dock, and we all enjoyed the beach beds, water floaties, and lake equipment. The whole space was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, perfect for both relaxation and fun. We’d absolutely love to rent this place again. Highly recommended!

This place is just as awesome as it looks in the pictures! We did a friends trip with four of us and the place worked out great! the outside entertainment area is FANTASTIC! There is also a precious and comfortable sunroof that I just loved! the inside is beautiful, comfortable and was great for games, movies and the like! Will absolutely stay here again!

The trip was a huge success! Everyone enjoyed themselves. My kids felt right at home, this was the first time my youngest slept through the night on vacation so you know we were excited. The home is within a 10 minute drive of a lot- which I enjoyed being able the see the lake and the surrounding areas. We had all the things we needed to cook/eat at home. It's quiet! We had a great time. Would highly recommend.

Had a great weekend with the family at this cabin. Quick jaunt to a marina and rented a boat for an afternoon lunch on the lake. Place was fun during downtime, be it playing pool or the X-men arcade machine. Just a beautiful home and environment all around.

Truly enjoyed our stay and the interaction with Tess. The house had all the amenities needed for our family. Great location. You are within walking distance of the Village. Back deck is very peaceful. Used the table and chairs in the front of the house for morning coffee. That was perfect.

My family and I stayed here and loved the place! Private backyard with a patio, two living areas for us to spread out, great Master suite, and loved that second full bath for the other two bedrooms and the powder room downstairs. The kitchen was great! Tyler was a wonderful, super responsive host and his flexibility was so greatly appreciated. We appreciated the yard for my little dog, and the price was very good. Would absolutely stay here again!!!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home! Big Bear is such a fun place to visit with so much to do all year round. We spent a week during spring break and could not have asked for more at this cabin. It was big and cozy and very well equipped with everything we needed and more than we expected! We spent most nights in the game room that had something for everyone, and the fireplace kept the upstairs toasty while adding ambience. The yard was massive and fully enclosed so we felt safe letting our dog outside. The kitchen had everything, lots of space, and being open to the living room area allowed us all to spend time together while cooking. The host was super responsive and proactive and the neighborhood was quiet and close to The Village. We would totally stay here again!!!

We had the most wonderful weekend at Jennifer’s cabin with our entire family, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we booked, she was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. She provided clear, detailed instructions that made check-in and navigating the home a breeze. The cabin itself was absolutely stunning: spacious, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and memorable group stay. Every room was thoughtfully furnished, and the house had all essential equipment for cooking meals together (2 ovens + 2 grills!) The views of the lake were breathtaking, and there were plenty of cozy corners to relax, play games, or just enjoy each other’s company. It’s clear that Jennifer takes great pride in this home and truly cares about her guests’ experience. Our family made lasting memories here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat.

We absolutely love this house. This is our third year in a row vacationing at this home. So clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location is perfect with so much to do in the area. Our family will continue to vacation at this home for many years to come. The owners are absolutely wonderful and gracious hosts. This home is truly amazing and one of our favorites that we have ever stayed at. Looking forward to coming back soon!

An Unforgettable Stay! 🌟 I recently had the pleasure of staying at China’s Airbnb, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. Was perfect for my birthday! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a beautifully clean space. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing, if not better. The decor was stylish and cozy, making it the perfect retreat away from the city. My group especially loved the huge balcony with hot tub and fully equipped kitchen that made cooking a joy. The fire place was also a nice touch for a cozy feel at night. Location-wise, this place could not have been better. It was situated in a quiet neighborhood a short distance to restaurants and local grocery stores. Plus, lake arrowhead village which was only a few miles away. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. I can’t wait to return!

Charles and Michael, thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! The lake view from the deck is amazing and so peaceful; we never wanted to leave! The house was stocked with everything you can imagine and more: nice wine glasses, coffee, tea, face masks, eye patches...all the things for a relaxing weekend in the mountains. The house was spotless and the decor is fun. The hosts were incredibly accommodating with excellent communication. We can't wait to go back! XO

The large house fit our large group. My 98-year old Dad was with us. The first floor bedroom and bath were perfect. Spacious master and secondary bedrooms upstairs. We didn't need it, but their was lots of storage. We had family and friends over to visit with Dad. The kitchen/living area plus the covered outside patio really met our family needs. There were a few minor things missing that I let the Host know about.

Airbnb was everything that was expected, beautiful home and beautiful surroundings. Roberta made the experience very easy and peaceful with everything!

This house looks better than the picture. Everything is super clean and new. There are enough space for 2 family of five and one dog. Plenty of rooms include game room, two spacious living room , very nice and big new kitchen with everything. You have 4 room and 3.5 bads enough for 10 people + 2 foldable single beds. 2 balcony, one with jacuzzi and the second floor with fire pit and comfortable sofa and table but the best thing is the view, is WoW and at night you can see how big is the universe. You must to be there to understand why I am saying it. The host is 100% friendly, trustable and fast responsive. Just go and enjoy...

Ariel was an amazing host, she was very helpful when it came to answering any questions I had regarding the house and the local spots. The house itself was very beautiful and it had a lot of places to hangout outside and inside the house. The house was close to the Lake arrowhead village and many shops! If I ever plan on coming back to Lake Arrowhead I will be booking with Ariel again! :)

The house was beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything I needed and then some, and Joseph was very responsive and walked me through the features of the house over the phone the first night I was there. I was there for a work conference and my only complaint is that I wasn't able to spend more time in his beautiful home. I would love to come back next time I'm in Arrowhead! Thank you again, Joseph!
