Great location for our annual fall trip. we'll be back!

First of all David is the man, Magnificent host, and beautiful cabin love the decor David chose for the cabin, pool was clean and well maintained canoes were awesome to have access too. We will definitely be back my kids and us had a blast.

Great, responsive hosts! The property is located on a beautiful, private lot and is equipped with everything needed for a getaway, any time of the year, whether it's for a party of one or a family; the hosts thought of everything needed for a short or long-term stay. The home has an open layout and offers beautiful views of a private lake and surroundings. I highly recommend the listing and will, definitely, come back in the future. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Great place on a quiet lake! Beds were comfy, outdoor space was nice, basement theatre/projector was fun and the pontoon boat was an added bonus to do some fishing. Host was a great communicator and was gracious with her flexibility. Had a wonderful stay!

Overall, I stayed for 2 weeks. The first week was with my family. My grandchildren are young, so that the beach and lake were perfect for them..sandy bottom and shallow for a distance. Also, it was great for kayaking and paddle boarding. The 2nd week was with 2 girlfriends and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. We didn't get in our cars to go anywhere all week!! Hung out on the lovely deck and beach, drank wine and grilled perfect dinners. At night, had beach fires most nights. And the stars at night were spectacular!!! The hosts were great. Always responsive, friendly and helpful. The setting was lovely and was everything I expected. Thank you!!!

It’s a great place to stay if your looking to get out if the big cities for a weekend. Right on a small lake with plenty to do. Kayak, fishing, swimming. And just being outside.

We loved Bert’s lake cottage. Every room has a water view and the porch in the back is especially beautiful. The house had everything we needed to enjoy a lovely weekend at the lake and we would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit the area.

I stay at a lot of places, and I must say, this home gave everything I absolutely needed. A view. Space for my grands. Theee most comfortable bed (master). The deck, the water, the mornings on the lake. Did I say view?? Just gorgeous. My family that stopped by on their way out are probably going to book. I will definitely return. On top of it, my dad’s home is walking distance (tho he carted over 😊). Thank you Shayla for being so gracious and for a wonderful stay.

Two Lakes Lodge was the perfect place to kick off our Michigan trip! We loved it so much, we already booked our next stay! The home was spotless, beautifully updated, and in the absolute best location. Right in the heart of town! Walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shop, local markets, and ice cream! We noticed a few reviews mention water pressure or a sulfur smell, but we simply followed the host’s tip to run the water for a few minutes when we arrived and we had zero issues. The water was hot, pressure was great, and everything worked perfectly. Truly a wonderful stay. You won’t be disappointed!

My partner and I loved staying here over the winter holiday. It was very well-thought out design in such a small space and most things we needed for our stay were included by the host. It seems like they thought of everything and we agreed that this would be a very nice place to stay in the summertime. The only thing I’ll say is that I don’t think the Airbnb could sleep 4 - when the Murphy bed is down, there isn’t much room remaining. We were very comfortable but we are two fairly small people. This is an excellent space for a couple! Thank you again.

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

The place looked exactly like the pictures. The views and proximity of the lake were excellent. The home was clean and inviting. We can't wait to book again with David.

We've stayed a few times with Dave and always love our time here. He is very responsive to questions, makes excellent suggestions, and even provides a holiday touch. We love staying here with access to the kayaks on Portage Lake in the summer and the beautiful views year-round.

Super cute apartment unit! They had all the amenities, clear instructions, it was super clean and easy to check in and out of! Very nice! The host was super helpful with instructions and information before check in too!

We have stayed several times now. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. They are always accommodating with check-in time. Check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

We had a great time at the Aqua Cove! The house was perfect. Our kids caught several species of fish from the dock and enjoyed all of the provided kayaks and paddle board. The house was equipped with everything we needed!

This was a perfect, peaceful getaway for my husband and two boys (ages 13 and 10). We pretty much had the lake to ourselves. We really enjoyed kayaking and swimming. The house was very clean and very cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. We traveled to Ludington and to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Both are about a 40 min drive. Brian’s directions got us right to the cottage with no issue. The location was quiet and peaceful while we were there. Definitely recommend and will keep in mind for the future!

You will not be disappointed with a visit to Harper Lake Resort. Vera and Terry will be sure to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Very clean, well maintained, nicely decorated, bedding, linens, towels, and kitchenware all supplied, HD cable tv, wifi, reading material and more will be ready for you to enjoy. The lake, boats, views all awesome. The fire pit area will warm you up and make you smile :) This place is a gem!

This place has it in the name, its truly an amazing property. Karen is an incredible host and has thought of all the little details. Its clean, the beds are super comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, the deck is huge, there's an amazing fire pit overlooking the water and the water itself is crystal clear. The sunsets, breathtaking and you'll want to leave your day to day and just stay there. We had an absolute blast. Will look to rent again many times in the future. The view was gorgeous! It had snowed several inches and it was so white and peaceful! Great to sit with a cup of hot cocoa and just relax and take in the view! Very cozy and comfortable, we will come back again!

Casey's home was exactly what we were looking for for our 9-person multi-generational family vacation. The house, amenities, and surroundings were just as described. We enjoyed a week of home cooked meals, swimming in the beautiful lake, boating, and playing in the yard. The house is quite remote, so we didn't venture out much, but we didn't need to pass the time.

Cute home with lake access. The lake is shallow and clean. Great for kids. The house has everything you need for cooking. It was clean and perfect for our family. Neighbors were nice and super friendly.

Our stay was wonderful! Communication with Mack and Donna was great. Loved the “continental” breakfast. Especially the Wesco muffins. We arrived a lot later than expected Friday evening so they offered an extended stay for Sunday night. That was not expected but a very nice offer. We will definitely be back!
