Ojai Restored Retro Trailer on a Ranch!

Little Moon, fully renovated 1950 Aljo trailer, found buried to its axles in Mojave. Named after her original owner, a Native American woman named Little Moon, whose birth certificate was found in the trailer. She has now been rebuilt and completely restored and placed in a perfect location under oak trees and next to our vegetable garden on our ranch where our numerous animals keep her company. UPDATE: Brand new AC unit installed! Nice and cool for summer months now!

This home is ZEN. You are at one with the ocean, a part of it. The pictures cannot convey the experience. We watched surfers and dolphins and birds, even had a seagull visit a few times. It was very hard to leave. I hope to be back. Thank you DeLayne for sharing paradise.

This cabin has such a familiar, comforting vibe—it feels like stepping into a place your soul already knows. The sound of the creek just outside the door added a gentle soundtrack to my stay, and I especially loved having breakfast in the screened-in porch each morning. Everything was easy to find thanks to the clear directions and the helpful guest handbook, and the thoughtful touches (like fresh apples and eggs) made me feel genuinely welcomed. If you’re looking to truly get away from it all and reset in nature, this is a perfect spot.

Stephen was wonderful, as was our stay in Ventura! We had to pivot after another host cancelled last minute and this was such a great find. We enjoyed a bonfire one night and the landscaping all around the house is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVE this house! Felt like home the minute we walked in. Everything was as it was detailed in the listing and the photos are very accurate. Kitchen was well equipped which was so appreciated since we were there for the whole week of Christmas. Plus the location was sooooo special, quiet, private and beautiful sunsets. Cruz was a great host, super responsive and always helpful. We would absolutely return and stay there again!

Joel and his place are amazing! He’s incredibly helpful and gives the best tips on what to do in Ojai. He also has a great assistant, his pup Indy! The pool is the perfect temperature to take an afternoon dip and the raised bed garden is a great place to spend a morning picking blueberries and eating tomatoes right off the vine! I highly recommend and the beds are comfy too!
