This is the UPPER level cabin (private w/no shared connections) Vaulted living space w/woodstove & amazing river views from inside or the private upper deck outside. One comfy bedroom + cozy sleeping loft (w/2 twins) accessed by pullout ladder & another sofa bed in the Living Space. Just steps to the river. The Lower downstairs cabin is also available separately for larger groups. Only a mile to Tokatee.

Our tiny log cabin is a cozy getaway, close to hiking, mountain biking, and cross country skiing but only 10 miles from the amenities of Bend Oregon. It is a rustic place, with modern touches, like a gas range, refrigerator, and a gas fireplace. The bathroom is detached from the cabin - steps from the door. It is fully equipped with plumbing and a shower. Our place is perfect for people who love the outdoors with the comforts of home. No children under the age of 12 -- And alas, No Pets.

***IMPORTANT***From December - April we maintain access to the basement apartment unit from Friday-Sunday (ski season!). This is an entirely separate unit with separate entrances. There are no spaced spaces. There will be no interaction. If you're OK with this, please proceed! Escape to "The McKenzie Zen Den", a luxury waterfront river cabin. One of the few rare properties built on the banks of the McKenzie River, so close you can fish from the deck! Downstairs is a riverside bedroom, full modern kitchen, and a full bath with a large custom walkin shower. Upstairs has a large bedroom, desk nook, and a half-bath.
