Tropical Glamping Hideout Chacahua

We had a perfect time at Mikaela’s little Paradies. Felt right at home. Amazing location with the ocean right in front. You feel the sand under your feet and sleep under the stars. Also you are 15 min away from the little town. Mikaela is a terrific host. Has great recommendations for places to eat or stuff to do. Communication was always easy. We recommend it 120%

Casa Tata 3

AnaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Chacahua is the most special place, easily our favorite place of our trip. Casa Tata is beautiful, peaceful and quiet, great shala for yoga and you get a private beach. The huts are lovely, with a good mosquite net and fan. Make sure to bring a lot of repellent because they are killer. It is a 20 min walk from the main town of Chacahua and all its restaurants. Would definitely come back.

Charming Beachfront Cabin 1 Casa Caracol Chacahua

ElyseRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I highly recommend staying at Nathan’s cabana. The location is so peaceful and you literally wake up on the beach. The sunrise /sunset and night sky are stunning and the location is very private. Nathan was so kind and helpful with helping me with directions, but due to the remote location I had no cell service, so I would recommend taking screenshots of the directions, info, WiFi password, and everything in advance. I recommend taking out plenty of cash before arriving because cards are not accepted most places (the supermarkets do accept cards). It is a bit challenging to get there at night due to the hours the boat and collectivo bus run and the location was hard to find in the dark, so try to arrive during the daylight hours. There are plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach within walking distance. I wish I could have stayed at Nathan’s longer, and I will come back again. I enjoyed every moment of my stay and appreciate Nathan’s respect for natural design and sustainability.

Cabin 14 “ALEgRIA” front beach @ Casa Gitana

AnneRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a magical stay in casa Gitana! the hut right at the beach was amazing and very comfortable. With the fan the temperature was great, the hut is closed off from mosquitos and the bed was very comfortable. It is a 15 minute walk to town, so it is nice that the hotel has food & drink service. The view from there is amazing! There were quite some ants in the hut (and on the bed when we arrived; easy to clean off), but hey you are in nature, part of the experience! For us it was no inconvenience at all. Just don't bring a lot of sugary goods ;)
