Casa das Dias is a 1-bedroom house located in the historical center of Vila Franca, right in front of the sea with an outsanding view to the Atlantlic Ocean and Ilhéu, a volcanic islet known among the villagers as the Princess Ring. Our house is cozy and was recently renovated. We put a lot of work and love into this house and are happy to share it with our family and friends. It has a very spacious social area, ideal for families and groups of friends, where there is a pool table. Very close to several beaches and the center of Vila Franca do Campo. There are several trails starting near the house. Located on the south coast of São Miguel Island, with easy access to Ponta Delgada.

In its renovation, we wanted to honor their life and memories, as well as the local culture and stories related to fishing and pottery. We prioritize warm colors, and local and ecological materials combined with simplicity and comfort. It is very well located across the waterfront, with the wonderful islet in full view, and close to the local beaches and restaurants.

We had a lovely stay in Francisco‘s house. The house is 2 minutes walking distance from the coast located in a beautiful and calm city with a couple of nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The house itself looks like it was recently renovated, with a fully equipped kitchen, a sizeable modern bathroom, living room + TV and WiFi and 2 bedrooms on the second floor providing enough space for groups of up to 4 people. Recommended 5/5.

My parents and I had a wonderful stay at Alain’s apartment in Vila Franca do Campo. The view from both balconies was stunning and completely unobstructed. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was clearly recently renovated, with a fresh, modern, and spotless feel throughout. There was plenty of parking available along the seawall, just a short two-minute walk from the apartment. Being right next to a fishing port added to the charm and authenticity of the location—we really enjoyed watching the fishermen return with their daily catch.

We had a great stay at Nelson’s place in Vila Franca do Campo. The apartment is well-located, close to the supermarket, the harbor, and a perfect base to explore all corners of Sao Miguel by car, as it is centrally located in the island. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the laundry facilities and the quiet neighborhood. Nelson was a fantastic host, always responsive and kind, he offered great recommendations while checking in on what to see and do around the island. He helped us with some practical tips that made our experience even better. Thank you, Nelson, for your hospitality. We’d gladly stay again on a future trip to the Azores.

Zita was welcoming and an attentive host. She is friendly and always making sure we were okay and providing us with bread.
