Converted Barn in Samaran, Gers with pool.

We had a wonderful 2-week stay at James and Nick's place. It is a beautiful converted stable with all the amenities one could want. Beautiful views over the local countryside. We had "not so good" weather, and were unable to use the pool, but the inside of the house more than made up for it. James was a great host. Always checking up on us, always suggesting things we might do. We brought two bikes, and the cycling was fabulous. Not flat, but beautiful country in every direction. The kitchen was very well outfitted with lots of dishes, pots and pant, cutlery and glass. (There was one less wine glass when we left. Very sorry, James, you were so good about it.) Definitely a place to stay, for either 2 or 4 people!

A big thank you to Danielle, Henri... and Louis (the dog) for this relaxing stay at their home. A green corner away from the hustle and bustle, a beautiful house... and its swimming pool. Not to mention the small wooden bridge, the water lilies, the forest for walks, etc. Excellent cleanliness, great hosting, we would have liked to extend our stay a little...
