The delicious and award-winning goat cheese that won the "world cheese awards" in October 2023 was produced 50 m from the cabin. From mid-July, the goats are the closest neighbors to the cabin. Here, you will also find Northern Europe's oldest and smallest stave church, built in 1147.

Welcome to the lovely Brekkebu, located about 12 km from Sogndal city center, surrounded by great nature and a lovely view of Sogndalsfjorden. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a spacious living room. The bathroom is located in the annex as well as an extra bedroom if needed. The bathroom in the annex is equipped with toilet, sink and shower with 50L hot water tank. The kitchen is modernized and very practical, with both ceramic cooktop and dishwasher.
