Vacation rentals in Lac Bay

La casa es fantástica, con todas las comodidades necesarias y cerca de las mejores playas para ir a relajarse. La piscina tiene mucha intimidad y se agradece. Al no haber tanto tránsito de aviones, que esté tan cerca del aeropuerto no es una incomodidad, aunque si son más ruidosos los bomberos justo en frente. Sin ninguna duda, lo repetiría.

Wonderful view, comfortable and spacious. Beautiful shared garden. We enjoyed the hummingbirds and bananaquits, parrots, doves and iguanas, and blue tailed lizards! Although it was extra windy during our stay which lowered the visibility in the water, we still appreciated being able to snorkel and swim right from the property. The close proximity to restaurants and shops was great, but the area felt peaceful - though there is currently construction a couple houses down which does make some noise during work hours on weekdays. The dive shop is literally one house down, but not noisy. We are not divers, but stopped in their little shop and enjoyed watching the lights under water from the occasional night dive. Since the garden is shared, you may not always have access to the area by the water if other guests are entertaining. Leanne was responsive and informative.

We had an excellent stay here. The hosts, Alexandra & Jan, were very responsive & helpful with the check-in & check-out, as well as other questions that came up during our stay. The apartment had great amenities, we especially enjoyed the pool and having a washing machine.

Walking distance to major shops. Quiet. Insect screens on all windows plus ceiling fans..... did not need to use the AC. Does not heat up too much in the sun, unlike the last place I stayed in Bonaire (felt like you could fry eggs on the inside walls). Kitchen well equipped, including most items you might use regularly at home. Other thoughtful items such as a shopping bag and spices. Full size fridge/freezer. Large TV and guest netflix. Roof top shaded leisure area. I didn't use the pool but it always looked clean. Local residents downstairs always friendly and quiet.

This is a stunning villa in a perfect location. We enjoyed being at the house as much as we enjoyed incredible Bonaire. The pool is pristine and inviting and all four bedrooms are perfect for one or two guests. We loved cooking in the large, well-equipped kitchen. The drinks and snacks presented for our arrival were a sweet touch. What a gem of a location right on The Lake. We would definitely book again.

Perfect location for windsurfing and wingfoiling at Lac Bay. Pretty much the closest house to Lac Bay site. 2.2km. Quiet and still a few minutes from Kralendijk and good grocery stores. Easy to find, great hosts, very pro-active making you feel at home quickly. Strongly recommended for wingfoilers, windsurfers and people looking to be away from town but close enough if you forgot to buy something at the grocery store :) Looks pretty much like the pictures and great neighbours.

Beautiful stay at Merel and Steve’s. The location is very central but it didn’t feel like we were “too close” to the cruise port craziness. Beautiful outside space and hang out areas. Merel was very helpful and always responded quickly to any questions. We did have some problems with one of the showers and even though she said it had been fixed, we could never figure it out (wasn’t worth reaching out a second time). Also there was limited toilet paper and no paper towels - we did not complain and I am sure Merel would have remedied the situation if we had; it just would have been nice to have those things. The hot tub was lovely and a nice way to warm up after a night dive/snorkel. Nice new fridge /freezer and the microwave and coffee pot worked well, although only one socket worked so we had to switch the plugs out to use whatever we wanted. There is an oven but the menu is all in Dutch so we could not figure it out. Overall very happy with our decision to stay! 🥰
