The stay was great, it is an authentic cottage on the property where the owners also live. The house is cozy and rural and very neat and clean. It is very rural but at a good distance from all amenities and there is plenty to do if you want, many beautiful castles nearby and beautiful towns. The garden and pool are beautiful and we enjoyed this very much, as well as the sound of all the birds around us. Anne and Yvon are very attentive, friendly and helpful owners who are there for you at all times should you need this, on the other hand, they also respect your privacy. Absolutely recommended!

We had a lovely week at la Bardoire. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable. Delphine is a very responsive host. There are several minor maintenance issues which need attention and then it would be perfect.

Excellent stay in this very large house. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained. We were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub, we were pleasantly surprised to see that towels had been made available to us for the shower but also for the pool when the listing said that there was no basic equipment. If the opportunity arises, we will come back without hesitation. A big thank you to Anne-Cécile and Carole who took care of our arrival and departure.

Frederic is an amazing host and goes above and beyond the normal host responsibilities. He attended to all our needs, questions, and curiosities. His property is something quite special!

Excellent stay in this haven of peace and nature in the middle of the Loire castles! Old sheepfold tastefully renovated, warm and spacious overlooking a terrace with views of the horse meadow!!! Evelyne and Pierre are very welcoming hosts who love nature and animals, with a beautiful family estate full of life!

I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here. The house is quiet, recently renovated, clean and very well-equipped. Very convenient location for cars and very nice garden. Franck was a remarkable host: welcoming, responsive, friendly and accommodating. The house is within walking distance of the very charming center of Vernou where you can find all the shops you need. A large supermarket is also nearby.

We felt very comfortable in the beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated house. The kitchen is well equipped, it has everything you need. There is a very good bakery around the corner and on Thursday morning there is a small market. You can take the bus to Tour.

A lovely home in a quiet rural setting. Comfortable and tastefully furnished and decorated. About 4 km out of tours. Two large bedrooms upstairs with an en suite shower in second bedroom and another shower off kitchen downstairs. One toilet downstairs and another outside back door. Good heating in all rooms. No air con or Wifi. We really enjoyed our 6 day stay.

Karine is a very attentive host. I had never woken up in a rental with hot croissants waiting for us. We had the flexibility to leave, as there were no other guests after us. We felt very good on this well furnished terrace. It was a perfect place for our romantic weekend and we warmly thank Karine.

The place is absolutely stunning - super spacious, stylish, has everything one may need on vacation and even more. The terrace is a jem - we enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace. The area is very serene and quiet. And Celine is an amazing host, extremely helpful and responsive. Definitely would recommend and would dream of returning again!

It’ an unique old house located in the middle of the nature. Lovely quiet place with big garden. Patrick and Benny are really nice hosts, very friendly. We also enjoyed company of little dog Lilly and 3 peacocks.

This accommodation is ideal for visiting the castles of the Loire and its surroundings with family or friends! The lounge area is friendly, the rooms are very comfortable and allow everyone to have their own space. Bonus: the garden and its terrace when the weather is nice!

It’s close to everything and the bike rental is within walking distance. Tours is a wonderful area! We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again.

This cottage has been "thought out" and furnished with great taste and thinking about the smallest detail: the dishes are beautiful, the decoration warm and pleasant, the bedding comfortable, even the linens are well chosen! ...Impeccable cleanliness, small sunny garden in the morning, shaded in the evening, perfect for spending pleasant moments, quiet. A parking space is even provided in front of the accommodation! We enjoyed a very sunny week, one or two nights a little hot (there is a fan...) and are delighted with this stay by the Loire. Thank you Laurence and well done for this lovely cottage! Among other possible activities: small suggestion for amateurs: a 3-hour "abstract painting" workshop, in Tours (at Sylvie B. painter) was offered to us by Airbnb, I participated and I really enjoyed it!...so go for it!
