Pet-friendly vacation rentals in La Union

The home is large and spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each of the 3 bedrooms was equipped with its own air-conditioner and there were 2 tower fans in the living room area. A rare amenity was the rather large refrigerator instead of the more typical mini refrigerator. The home also had a regular full-size 4 burner stove with oven which was a nice bonus. The large yard that surrounds the house is fenced with 2 locked entry gates; one small gate for people and a large gate for cars or etc. The large yard is filled with various fruit trees and many flowering plants and etc which are maintained by the homes caretaker. The ocean and beaches are close by with the popular surfing community of San Juan, La Union, a relatively short trip to the South. Also, be sure to keep food crumbs and spills wiped up to avoid feeding the ants which seem to love life in the warm tropical Philippines. The hosts and caretakers of the home were all very kind and quick to respond to any questions.

Reasons to book Casa El Chico: 1.) Neil was an excellent host. He’s accommodating, kind, and simple to communicate with. 2.) The house has plenty of space and is clean. 3.) We can cook and prepare our meals. 4.) There are plenty of clean bathrooms, and the water pressure is excellent even when we're all using it at the same time. 5.) The rooms are extremely comfy and tidy. 6.) There are board games! We will definitely book again!

The place was not only great but also convenient. Host was the best and will surely come back and book here again. Everything went accordingly for our group. The LOFT 1 was very spacious. We surely enjoyed our stay. 🤍

I stayed here before in 2019 & had a pleasant experience, so I thought to book it again and I had a similarily easy and hassle-free trip! While the parking is a bit tight, it is doable — we were able to park a montero and FJ in the garage. The home itself was very clean, spacious, and had everything listed. My favorite part about this place is its location. Very near everything and super close to the beach! Would very much stay here a third time :)

It is my family's second time to stay at Ecohouse but now with my parents and my siblings. The first one was 2 and a half years ago, yet coming back there gave me that exact same cozy, comfortable & peaceful vibe - the exact reason why we always wanna stay here every time we have a trip to Baguio. Everything was perfect, each part of the house was clean, warm & homey - from the living room, kitchen, dining and the bedrooms. Ruth, the host, as always, is very accommodating, helpful and responsive to our needs, and we love the delicious compliments that greeted us when we arrived. My parents certainly loved their "chill" weekend and almost didn't wanna leave the house. My favorite experience at Ecohouse would be our nightly family bonding at the living room couch and tv, and my night cap with my sisters at the outdoor veranda, it's priceless! Staying at Ecohouse is nostalgic, the feeling that takes me back to my childhood and experiencing Baguio like it was the first time! ❤️🌲

This accommodation is very much recommended especially for large families and groups! Ms. Hosanna lives up to the superhost title. She was very accommodating, keeps you updated before, during, and after your stay, and will also share recommendations within the area. She is quick to respond to any questions you may have. The house itself is homey, warm, and clean. Fully furnished and all the tools/items you need are readily available for your use. There is more than enough amenities provided. The area itself is also safe, private, and secured since it's inside a subdivision. The cost is worth the stay here, it's a fantastic place! Would love to book again when we come back to Baguio. The place was absolutely top-notch! My family loved it. It was peaceful and perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect from the host to the caretaker who was so friendly and hospitable. All the rooms were amazing, clean and luxury indeed. Very peaceful and very beautiful. Furnitures and appliances were outstanding , coffee maker, nutriblend, stove inside and outside, toaster, sandwichmaker, bonfire, swing, tv, billiards, toys, boardgames, internet (had a problem but was immediately fixed by them) and many more. We really enjoyed our whole stay, and we will definitely come back.

Kalgow La Union is a a beautiful retreat in San Juan. The ambience and decor were beautiful, the beds were plush, the pool area was so chic relaxing, and the overall experience was warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this getaway to anyone heading out to San Juan.

Shiella Mae was really helpful and really fast at replying messages. The house was really clean and modern and it had all the amenities.

Kaykayo is beautiful place! I wish I would have booked it at least for 3 days instead of just one night to really enjoy the scenery. Big enough to accommodate a big family. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Everything you need for a nice vacation is in here. Complete and spacious kitchen for big groups and lots of activities from beach, pool, video keeping, and even billiards. Not even a dull moment in this place.

The place is sulit! accessible to palengke, grocery shop and other fastfood chains. Okay also yung accommodation itself, rooms, kitchen and CRs. Basic kitchen utensils are available pero if you’re cooking big batches need to bring your own kawali and kalderos. Okay din yung neighborhood, hindi maingay and we did nit encounter a problem naman during our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at GGP Homestay! It’s the perfect place for families looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The place is really well thought out— every space was fully utilized, and the overall layout was both amazing and inspiring. It had complete amenities, quality furniture, and a fantastic view that we enjoyed throughout our stay. The location is serene, ideal if you’re planning to bond with family over a staycation. The whole subdivision is super quiet, and even the neighbors were very understanding. Grab delivery is accessible. The owner was also very responsive. GGP Homestay is about 22 to 33 minutes away from the city center, depending on traffic. Getting to the house is challenging because of the steep and narrow road — the host did inform us about this ahead of time, but we admittedly underestimated it. Also, if you plan to explore tourist spots, you might just end up wanting to stay in and enjoy the house instead. Highly recommended for family and friends!

Loved Aki's place. The property has a lot of "spots". A front terrace-ish spot with chairs facing the beach connected to the main bedroom, a cozy veranda, and a bonfire area with chairs, not to mention the 2 bedrooms they have. Loved the cozy and comfy feeling it gave us. The beach is literally just in front of you, a laid-back ocean waves. The parking area is just 1 minute away. As a Pinoy, a generous set of cookware and utensils is definitely a plus! Comfy pillows, beds, and cold AC. I actually did not expect both rooms to have their own smart television... not a necessity, but they went extra for that. The caretaker, ate Rachel is also kind and nice! The entire place is so spacious! If we ever need to go back to Bauang again sometime soon, we will definitely book here again. What you see is what you get!

The hosts gave us as much privacy as any guest would want, however, are also helpful when we have inquiries. Sayang lang talaga, last day na namin nalaman na nag ooffer si Kuya Christian ng ride. Most of the days we were there are rainy days, should have been very helpful to get us where we want. Pero we were able to take advantage of that sa last day papuntang terminal. No hassle! I love that we can cook our own food to our liking kase the kitchen and amenities are complete as to basic utensils you would need. May 5-minute walk to a mini grocery store and public mini bus papuntang burnham. If you are not a local, sadyang bakbakan lang talaga sa feeling ang steep streets. Pero day 2, you will get over it! 🤍 It felt like home na kahit masarap gumala talaga outside, you’ll also have a feeling of equal excitement makauwi sa unit because it’s so cozy and warm good for any weather. Would love to come back with fam! 🤍

Recommended: 9.5/10 - Very peaceful and beautiful place. So relaxing. - Rooms are cozy and neat. - It's a bit far from city distance but I think it is the price to pay for peace and quiet. - Campfire place and PS4!

Before anything else, I would like to give our sincerest thanks to Ms. Judith, who was very accommodating, from proactively reminding us about our trip 2 days before, and checking on us while we were on our way, giving us directions and settled us in when we arrived, reaching out to suggest dinner options, up to checkout. We highly appreciate the flexibility with the check in and check out time as well. The place is spacious and great for big groups, with various of amenities offered, including karaoke, pool table, and bonfire. And the beach is amazing! Calm, with fine sand. Such a cozy and wonderful stay! I had the best time staying here with my cat. The place was super cozy and perfect for us. It had everything we needed, and the ambiance was just so inviting. The highlight of the experience was definitely the host – she was incredibly responsive, kind, and accommodating. I felt truly taken care of throughout my stay. Great place with a quick access to the sea. The area is not yet developed so we had the whole beach to ourselves. It instantly became a place for healing and relaxation. We were totally recharged after our 3-day stay. 😇

First time in elyu well-spent and enjoyed thanks to The SeaChange ! It was very nice to have the beach nearby (literally just a minute or two walk, so convenient!)… The place had its own outdoor shower too so it was easy to wash off the sand post visit :) Glad there were games to entertain us at night. The hosts are very accommodating as well so it made our visit much lighter and easier! 🩷 Hope we can come back soon.

Stayed in Miguel’s place for 4 days with two other friends. We loved the area where it is located—peaceful and quiet, away from the usual business of LU, but there was a good cafe, poke restaurant, and bar just downstairs so it’s still pretty convenient. Also, the place is VERY spacious. We had so much space for 3 people and did not feel cramped at all. It’s also a two-minute walk from a quiet beach!
