This place is definitely a home away from home and a great place to unite the families! It provided all of our needs plus more. We love exploring the near towns and often when we had plans to go out we would actually change and stay in instead to relax, play games and be together. Also a 5-star mention is the communication and attention given by our host. If there was anything, they were quick re respond and help us out. We are already looking forward to our next stay! My friends and I had a great stay here in May. Very charming cottage with lots to do- we had fun canoeing and playing badminton. The host was easy to contact and the place was clean and had everything we needed.

I had a fabulous time staying at The Nellie. Surrounded by the entrancing Gatineau River, The Nellie is an ideal place for those looking for a secluded escape. The Gatineau River essentially creates an archipelago, with countless islands to photograph and explore. Lac-Sainte-Marie is accessible by canoe or kayak, though I would recommend bringing a physical map and compass to avoid getting lost. The Nellie is a perfect option for those who want a unique, rustic experience. Keep in mind, there's no electricity or running water, so plan your meals accordingly. Extremely charming nonetheless. If you are less comfortable with a canoe/kayak I would recommend staying at The Dragon. Transportation to either location is available. I didn't meet Bonnie or Jaques, but I did meet Andrew! He was respectful and punctual, very communicative and easy-going. He's a really solid dude. I will plan my next trip to The Nellie in the near future. I already miss it!

We had a great time at Dani's place. Great communication and truly enjoyed our stay with the family. Will return in the summer to see and use the lakefront they own. Thanks again to Dani for a great stay!

We had a lovely time! The scenery is stunning, the house comfortable and the kitchen very well-equipped. We didn't have time to explore everything, but the trail around the lake is very nice, the water of the lake is pure, kayaks and bikes are available. Small remarks: the beds on the mezzanine were quite dusty, we had to go out and beat the blankets, after that our sleep improved. The toilets require maintenance, they take a very long time to fill the water tank, and the flush does not always work very well. And the spa had settings that we didn't master very well, we felt that everything wasn't working. But apart from these little things, the impression is very good!

We had an amazing stay at Wilfrid’s chalet! The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The fireplace made the living area feel super warm and inviting, and the gazebo outside was honestly one of the best parts, a perfect spot to chill and enjoy the scenery. The game room kept us entertained for hours and really brought everyone together. Wilfrid was responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Definitely a 10/10 experience, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and fun getaway!

An experience beyond our expectations, no need to bring specific things, no equipment is missing! Everything is thought out, in the smallest details, we recommend and will rent this cottage again, which has no negative points. Very nice, comfortable bedding, very well-equipped kitchen. We spent three nights at this place over the long weekend, and it was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and was nice and clean. The host was very responsive and has maintained the house exceptionally well. I will definitely plan to stay here again in the future. The location is also excellent.

It was comfortable and very enjoyable stay. Even though weather was not like May end, bit cold and rainy, we had wonderful time at recreation centre, sports complex and backyard. Everything is well maintained and easy to access. Will definitely plan to visit again.

Everything was perfect, but the place could be cleaner. Moreover, the kayak was not available while it was not written in the description. Overally, it worth the price and i'll give star.

A 5-star, I love it! I had a great time at Martin and Mélanie's. The house matched the description: clean, well-equipped, quiet and very well-located. The place is warm and comfortable, and Melanie was available and responsive throughout the stay. I would highly recommend the place and will be back again soon. We had a lovely weekend at Kay's place. This cottage is not new and that's what makes it charming, it is warm, comfortable and well equipped! The view from the cottage of the snowy trees and the banks of the river was very beautiful. The garden must surely be very nice in summer. Kay was responsive and easy to communicate with. Thanks!

Very nice place in the middle of nature, with a whole battery of sound to relax: birds, winds in the trees , stream below, and in our case rain and thunderstorm! Peaceful and refreshing intimist! The place is cozy and spotless, and the hosts are kind, responsive and welcoming. Go there without so much as a second thought!

Amazing place when we went to stay the first week of June. Gorgeous view of the lake and sunset every night. Some of the best stargazing we've ever seen.
