Our stay at La Balise Marina L’Estuaire, Black River, Mauritius, was absolutely wonderful. Sandrine was an exceptional host, providing fantastic communication from booking through to our stay, ensuring everything was seamless. Paola took excellent care of our family, keeping the accommodation spotlessly clean and always being available to answer any questions. Both Sandrine and Paola were outstanding, making us feel welcome and well cared for. The apartment was spacious, modern, and equipped with every utensil needed for a self-catering holiday, ensuring a comfortable and satisfying stay. I highly recommend hiring a car, as we did, to explore the island. The apartment conveniently includes a car parking space, and the large Super U supermarket nearby offers a wide range of food and essentials. Our experience was incredibly enjoyable, and we are grateful to Sandrine and Paola for making it so memorable. Highly recommended!

Five star apartment with a five star host. Superb views from a spacious well equipped Penthouse apartment. The host, security and cleaner were all very friendly and helpful. Local restaurants at the end of the lane were great and a short walk up the beach to the restaurants of Long Beach. Snorkelling and water sports at your doorstep. Highly recommended.

Wonderful apartment with exceptional views. Clean apartment on arrival and it's nice to have the cleaning done on certain days during the stay. Unfortunately, there was an electrical problem in the building which made it impossible to use the elevator but this does not detract from the beauty of the accommodation.

Had a wonderful stay at Coralie & Astrides place in Latitude luxury apartments . The service they provided from check in to late checkout, due to our late flight was great.They even left us a bottle of prosecco and a card for our 25th wedding anniversary, which was a lovely surprise. The apartment was as decribed. Better than the photos. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The Large terrace was a fantastic space for chilling, with amazing views of the ocean and Le Mourne. The grounds and swimming pool were lovely and never busy. You could always find an empty sun lounger. Shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Ruisseau Creole was a lovely shopping mall with nice cafes and restaurants Bistro La Poste and Happy Rajah are worth a visit for food. Thankyou for a lovely stay we would definitely book again.

This place was perfect. It’s located just across from the beach, easy to access, and really well set up. The host was friendly and responsive, and I appreciated the flexibility with early check-in and late check-out. Everything was smooth and comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at this apartment in Flic en Flac! The location is perfect, right in front of a nice lively beach and close to everything you need. The view of the beach from the apartment is really lovely. The apartment is simple but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner was great at communicating before our arrival, which made everything really easy, even though we didn’t meet in person. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a beach stay in Flic en Flac!

Wow! What a beautiful apartment in a truly wonderful location. Very well appointed, especially the kitchen which was great for us as we like to BBQ. A special mention for Pamela who is just wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble.

This property is an absolute gem! We’ve just returned from our first holiday to Mauritius, and had the most amazing time. The house was spacious and well equipped, the beds were comfortable in air conditioned bedrooms, and the views to die for. Our children spent countless hours in the pool and loved the beach which was directly accessed from the bottom of the garden. There was parking for our car and the house was very secure with electric gates to the front. There was a useful shop close to the house and all the facilities you could require in the next town. The south of the island is beautiful, and has so many attractions to keep everyone entertained. Dominique was the perfect host, always available when needed . Jean Noel, the maintenance guy was amazing and was very friendly to our children, picking and opening coconuts from the trees in the garden and giving lessons in Mauritian life. I’ve never been so sad to leave at the end of a holiday, and we are already planning our return!

The location is stunning and the accommodation extremely functional as well as comfortable so we spent much of our stay at the house and were able to relax totally. The place is within easy reach of restaurants, shops, beaches and other necessary amenities although it would have been limited without a hire car. Mathilde was great throughout, always there if we needed anything, extremely helpful but not at all intrusive. We had a late arrival and she facilitated a meal at the house and essential supplies for us which made the start of our holiday much easier than it could have been.

Kavita, Priscille and Usha were very nice, helped us finding our way to restaurants and other things in the neighbourhood. Very clean and looked after location directly at a small beach. Restaurants at walking distance. Very nice house!

Here's a rewrite of your text: We had an exceptional stay of more than two weeks with our two children (1 year and 4 years). Amreen is an extremely warm and welcoming person. She made our stay as simple and enjoyable as possible. Whenever we needed help, his responses were quick and effective. We were confined in the apartment for a day or two because of the cyclone, but the quality of the accommodation, including the pool, allowed us to enjoy anyway. Amreen was very thoughtful and cared for our well-being throughout this situation. I highly recommend this listing 100%. It offers ample space, functional air conditioning, and most importantly, a splendid view of the ocean. Thank you so much!

Michel is a pleasant, discreet and helpful host, very responsive and gives good advice he booked all our excursions for us, including the restaurant reservation, taxi and rental car. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and exactly as described. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time here. Julien’s communication was perfect, he couldn’t have been more helpful with information about the house and any questions we had whilst we were there. The beach by the house was lovely for walking and watching the sunset then we used the house as a base to visit the beaches further up the coast which were only about 25mins drive. Recommended 👍

Exceptional location, straight out of a dream (or a postcard you don't want to leave). The garden is a little slice of heaven, maintained by a gardener of extreme kindness – we almost wanted to invite him to an aperitif! No negative points... except that you have to leave at some point (and that's cruel) Anyway, we'll be back, that's obvious!

Ambroise is a great host.... very responsive and detailed from Day 1. The property was clean and well maintained. The two turtles at his place are fun to watch and Ambroise was kind enough to lend his private Kayaks to us. It was a fun experience exploring the reef on the Kayak. Thanks for having us Ambroise!

Great stay at Isabelle's who is a simply amazing host. In addition to the many tips about the surrounding area, we offered a guided tour of the south of the island and put us in touch for a dolphin and sperm whale boat tour. A wonderful stay with family. Everything is as described & Jimmy is a friendly great host. The apartment was clean, well maintained & spacious for our family group of 5. The Bali themed interior is an absolute delight at the apartment. Nice swimming pool , walking distance to Flic en Flac is a great plus. I would highly recommend this apartment for families.

A fantastic place for a great holiday. Immaculate, extremely well equipped, stunning decoration, extremely tasteful furniture & fittings, everything you need and more. I can personally recommend Romain’s place to anyone. This was our fourth visit to Mauritius , and was the best ever. We will definitely be back in the future. Romain went out of his way to arrange my wife’s 60th birthday celebrations. On our arrival we were surprised with Champagne , and he even arranged a birthday cake the night of the celebration. We rented Celine's apartment until 4/28/25 for two and a half weeks. It was all around perfect. Not only that the super friendly and dear Jolanda provided us with many tips for fantastic excursions on the island, always kept the apartment clean, the apartment itself was just absolutely fantastic. The apartment is located in a wonderful, very well maintained, architecturally, sophisticated, very green and very safe complex with a wonderful pool, right on the sea. This complex can be taken endless walks to the right and left and get to the nearby luxury hotels, where you can rent lying down, have lunch and enjoy dinner. The location is just amazing. We were traveling with our six-year-old and bought him a small fishing net on site and he was just obsessed with the diversity of fauna in the Indian Ocean. We had incredible weeks. Thank you for the hospitality!
