We have created modern accommodation but kept the character of the barn with its original oak beams and stone. Located on the Normandy/Loire border in a rural location offering couples a quiet escape to the countryside. Self catered, but your choice of our breakfast option. Centrally based for guests to visit the many medieval towns, markets, walks and attractions within the region.

Wake up to peace and quiet then take a stroll to the boulangerie for breakfast ,then perhaps later dine at one of the many friendly restaurants, cafes or bars. You will be delighted by the beautiful castle and stunning landscaped grounds that surround it .The area is very picturesque and full of charm and character. It's a great place to discover the real France and its culture.

Mini gîte "Le petit fournil" in Normandy

Notre ancien fournil est une partie de notre corps de ferme. Au rez - de - chaussée, il est pourvu d'une cuisine équipée et d'une salle de douche avec toilettes. A l'étage, une chambre mansardée dispose de 3 lits indépendants. A l'extérieur, nos hôtes ont accès à une terrasse privée avec du mobilier de jardin. La wifi est gratuite. Un petit déjeuner (pain paysan, confiture) est proposé sur demande pour 5 euros par personne. Proche de la voie verte, les promeneurs apprécieront cette halte.

The wi fi has now been upgraded to fibre & is rated ‘very fast ‘ As well as the two small lakes there is a dell and bog garden. Surrounding area is excellent for walkers & cyclists. Bikes are available for guests at no extra cost.

If you feel like it, mountain bikes can be provided to explore the 31 km of surrounding hiking trails (€5 per day regardless of the number of bikes). From the rooster to the donkeys, they will all be there to welcome you.
