Monthly Rentals in La Cumbrecita

A wonderful place to enjoy a few days with the family, connected with nature, its surroundings and in a very modern, minimalist and elegant house. We were looking to be calm, relaxed and entertained, and we found it. The setting is very nice, balanced and ideal to feel relaxed. We took a family trip with small children: they had fun with the access to the river, the Ribera and the walks. We strongly recommend to those who go at least two or three nights, and take the supplies to be relaxed and at peace without worrying about the time or having to go shopping which implies moving in a vehicle. A good book is a must, or downloaded movies, games, or just walking shoes. The river is wonderful. You can barbecue on site and we felt comfortable and safe. We recommend arriving during the day the first time. And don't feed the foxes!!

The cabin is very comfortable and the view is a wonderful postcard of the Sierras. Moni is an excellent host. From the beginning he was very friendly and gave me all the clear directions to get to the place. She welcomed us with great kindness and it was very pleasant to talk with her and listen to all her recommendations!

We stayed at Carlos and Emilia’s place for just two days, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The room was cozy and private, located just a short distance from the main pedestrian tourist area. It’s ideally situated—only 300 meters from La Olla and close to many scenic hiking trails. One major plus: it’s one of the few places in La Cumbrecita where you can actually park your car on the property. While the room itself was lovely, what truly made our stay special were Carlos and Emilia. They are incredibly warm and welcoming, and made us feel like we were visiting long-lost family. We’re already looking forward to returning in the not-too-distant future!
