This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

If you are an active person, there is a CrossFit box, a traditional gym and many running and bike trails near by

Fogar Mozárabe is a rural nature complex and rest in a unique medieval setting. Our houses are located in Peñalba de Santiago, a town full of history and tradition in the Bierzo region. From its wooden corridors you can see the forests of the well-known Valle del Silencio.
