Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone with a charge of NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

This tiny guesthouse has the most beautiful view directly from your kitchen and sleeping room window. Since there's no street lights around, it's the perfect place to watch the Aurora and enjoy a relaxing private getaway in the Arctic. We live next door with our 6-year old son and cat. We are at work from 8:00 are at home from about 4:30pm and on weekends. This is a 35 m2 apartment 13km from Tromsø city center. Perfect for viewing the northern lights in a very quiet area! Suitable for up to four persons. One bed room plus fold-out-bed in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen. The bus goes between Tromsø and the property 25 times a day on business days, 5-6 times on Saturdays and zero times on Sundays. Take route 412 from Torgsenteret 2 to Holmesletta. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Cabbin only 26 km from Tromsø Airport, 20 km from City senter , a perfect location for watching the mythical northern lights! The Polar night lasts from about 27 November to 21 January. The sun stays below the horizon for the entire period. The midnight sun is visible from about 20 May to 22 July. Northern lights you can spot during the period from the beginning of September to the middle of April.
