Cabin on a former smallholding, with a perfect location on the north of Lofoten, where mountains meet the sea. The view from the property is enormous, and is a beautiful viewing spot for the midnight sun! Very great location for hiking in mountains, fishing in fresh water and sea, swimming in fresh water, and as a starting point for trips around Lofoten. Right by the property is the mountain peak "Haveren" (808m). Access to hunting terrain in the fall, with abundance of duck, goose, grouse, etc. 25 min from Leknes, 45 min from Svolvær.

This is truly a fantastic place. It is an old totally renovated fishery. The size is 180 square meters, and the pier is 200 squares. The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big (200cm x180cm) nice bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, and an exclusive sauna. Exclusive beachfront cabin, sheltered location

Our architect-designed cabin was completed in May 2024. The cabin has a sheltered and exclusive location right at the water's edge with panoramic views towards Henningsvær and the majestic mountain Vågakallen. The large windows invite nature in and create a feeling of being in one with the surroundings. The views are spectacular and truly take the breath away from most. The morning bath is lovely on the white beach which is right next to the cabin. We are so proud of this place and welcome you.

My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on. This building was originally built to be a village church, and functioned as such for many decades. The name of the church was Klippen – The Rock – a name that is often used for local churches around Norway. The house consist of a large open living room with full kitchen, and also a modern bathroom on main floor. Upstairs there is three bedrooms available, two new and one in the older part. There is also a smaller living room with a great view.

It is difficult to capture just how cozy this space is. Though the photos are wonderful, they can’t fully do justice to the history and innumerable thoughtful details that went into its design. The space set aside for sitting and relaxing is comfortable, the sleeping space is quiet and dark, and if you’re lucky you’ll get to experience the full complement of sun, wind, and rain outside while you enjoy your time in this home and its dramatic setting. We spent the better part of a week using the Steamery as a home base to explore the Lofoten islands, and could not have asked for a more peaceful location or a more gracious host. When our ferry to the islands was cancelled at the last minute, and we showed up late after a long driving detour, our host was waiting for us at the door, despite the late hour. Key in hand, she greeted us as if we were old friends reunited. We couldn’t have been happier with our time here, and would happily return at any point.

This home was outstanding! Super comfortable beds, beautifully and minimally designed which highlighted the stunning scenery! Very near Henningsvær and tons of hiking! Kind and responsive host. Highly recommend!
