From the house you have a beautiful view over Kanstadfjorden, where light and weather constantly create new moods throughout the day and seasons.

The cabin is located by the lake on beautiful Tjeldøya in Tjeldsund (Ofoten). Suitable for active families or couples who like to go on mountain hikes. We have used the cabin as our base for this, and therefore do not have a boat available. Also perfect for those of you just wanting to retreat and seek peace and quiet. The only thing you hear here is the sound of the boats or cruise ships in the strait, something we love to observe when we sit on the terrace. Also suitable for workers with short assignments in the area.

The property has been significantly upgraded in recent years and is currently used for vacation and recreation. The cabin is located by the sea and in the immediate area you will find beautiful nature trails, mountains with spectacular views, possibility of sea fishing and great skiing in winter. Quiet and peaceful surroundings and a bustling bird life, great mountain hikes and a nice terrain to walk in summer and winter. Situated close to the sea and the mountains, the area offers loads of possible excursions. During winter you might see the northern lights just outside the door. And after a day out, you can enjoy your coffee watching the amazing scenes of the gateway to the famous Lofoten and Vesterålen area.
