Relax and unwind in this stylishly furnished rural home about 10 km south of Ghent. Bruges, Antwerp and Ypres are also 60 km away. The house is located near the village center of the picturesque Baaigem. Nearby are the Makkegemse forests, ideal for a long walk and also a diverse range of hiking trails including, for example, the unique bunker route. For cycling enthusiasts, numerous cycling and MTB routes start here, a stone's throw from the Flemish Ardennes.

Big and beautiful house at Citadelpark

Our spacious 4 floor house, built in 1880, is located conveniently close to Gent-Sint-Pieters train station and alongside Citadel park. The art museums are a very short stroll through the park and the city centre is easily reachable by walking (20 minutes) from our peaceful neighbourhood. Our home is perfect for three couples or a family group. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Lots of privacy in addition to nice communal areas to spend time together.

The floor is also a large room with bathroom area, dressing room and bed for 2 people (180 x 200) and a toilet with hinged door. This historically valuable thatched farmhouse, in the hamlet of Korsele in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes, is the perfect base for wonderful walks and to enjoy the culture in Ghent and Oudenaarde. Cooking can be done on an AGA. In the summer, you can sit in the garden. A grapevine adorns the shed and gives shade to the terrace. It's lovely to wake up to the mooing of the cows.
