Beautiful house in a beautiful area for hiking. From the house you can start directly on beautiful hiking trips. The house is equipped with everything, from the Sonos box to a Nintendo. The absence of the duvet cover and towels is therefore striking. But all in all recommended!

We had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful and comfortable home. The neighborhood was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house had everything we needed for a fabulous vacation—from a fully equipped kitchen perfect for preparing any meal, to spacious rooms that made us feel right at home. In the evenings, we enjoyed unwinding with movies on the large TV. The location is fantastic, serving as a great base for exploring iconic cities like Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf, and Koblenz. Excellent restaurants are just around the corner, and for quick grocery runs, Aldi is only about a five-minute drive away. This property truly stands out as one of the most stunning places we’ve ever stayed. Michael was exceptionally responsive and kind, always keeping communication clear and helpful. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

we had a wonderful short stay with Patricia. The apartment was spotless and clean and totally cozy and beautiful. We felt right at home and would come back any time. The private garden, where you can linger beautifully, is also particularly great. Patricia is really very friendly and always helpful.

I can only recommend it! Ingse is a pleasant host, the apartment very nice. The view from the terrace was beautiful (lots of sky, a little Rhine). Overall it was very quiet. We felt very comfortable!

A perfect place for two and four-legged friends for a quiet break in the middle of the beautiful Eifel, near Rursee. Breathtaking views, small fenced garden, spacious, cozy space. We had a very nice week in the cute village of Scheven with the artist duo Verena and Michael . Very kind and welcoming. The space is very clean and equipped with all the comforts. There is a lot of tourist information, such as hiking and cycling maps and books and leaflets about excursions. It was wonderful to be able to use the garden. The place is a good base for walks and cultural trips. Lots of nice villages nearby with, among other things, old half-timbered houses. We felt very welcome and would love to come back sometime.

The place looked exactly like the pictures! It was very quiet and idyllic, especially the terrace invites you to relax! It is very central, an Edeka, banks, baker and the train station are within walking distance. By car, it is easily accessible and quickly in Bonn despite the highway construction site! I'd love to come back if I have to travel to Bonn again 🙂

There are several folders with suggestions for activities in the accommodation. In addition, Gaby provided more information and made additional suggestions. We particularly liked that you can hike directly from the property (e.g. Struffeltrunde). Within walking distance of a supermarket and a few restaurants. Great garden.

We were pleasantly surprised, we found the apartment much nicer than in the pictures. Friendly people and everything is available for a pleasant stay.

Beautiful view of the Rhine in a quiet, modern, spacious and comfortable apartment. Very good instructions in how to access and use the pristine apartment. Comfortable bed. Parking spot provided in underground garage. Has so many nice features, including dish washer and washer/dryer, and heat pump.

This was the second time I stayed at Babs' and I'm looking forward to staying there again. The apartment is kept neatly clean and all appliances are in perfect conditions. The neighborhood is perfect for enjoying some nice walks and it's only 15min from the city center on foot. Also, Babs is always friendly and provides all that is needed for a pleasant stay. Chic and functional apartment! Very clear check-in instructions, and very flexible arrival after our visit to Cologne on the weekend, as well as Phantasialand Park the next day.

Spacious apartment and fully furnished as a residential house. Spacious terrace. Location is close to the quiet villa district Marienburg and the Südpark where you can take beautiful walks. The bus connection to the center is fine. Line 132 stops around the corner. 2 min walk. Also handy is the HIT supermarket around the corner. Coffee machine with beans is a winner. A few bottles of drinks and snacks make you feel welcome.

We stayed at the property for 4 nights. The quiet location and the great view are definitely a plus. We also found the amenities, such as the battery-powered vacuum cleaner, to be perfect. We will be happy to come back again.

Lovely, peaceful and clean apartment. Georg was very helpful and let us store our tandem. Good supermarket within walking distance and a lovely walk through the park into Aachen city.

Christa is a friendly, neat and social hostess. we were very warmly received by her and received clear explanations about the area Christa even went to get us another coffee maker. We had an absolutely delightful stay at Marita’s place. It was bigger than we expected and had recently been remodeled in a very tasteful way. Despite the updates, it still had so much character - it felt like staying in a real home rather than a hotel. Marita is easily one of the most outstanding hosts we’ve encountered in our travels. She made us feel right at home, offered helpful recommendations, and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. We also loved staying in a real part of town rather than the more touristic side of Monschau - it made the experience feel more authentic. We can’t speak highly enough of this place and hope we find ourselves back here someday.
