Visited for the 2nd time, this time during the weekdays. We were the only ones there. Might be due to recent start of the school year, but this place needs to be known more. IMHO - One of the utmost "peace & serenity" places in the country. It has everything you might need or want to relax from the city hype. Sauna, place and equipment for a bbq, lake for swimming, SUPing, boating or anything else you might want - check, check, check and check again. Disregarding the longer trip from the capital (roughly 2.5-3h trip), I highly recommend the place for anyone who's looking for a perfect place for a nature retreat. Added "mega bonus" - PET FRIENDLY, so bring your buddies along.

We had a wonderful stay at Oksana’s apartment and will definitely stay here again! The check-in process was incredibly easy and convenient, making our arrival stress-free. The apartment has absolutely everything you might need, and for those traveling with children, it’s fully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable, and the apartment is warm even in the winter months, ensuring a cozy experience. We highly recommend this place and will certainly choose it again next time!

This cabin is a must visit when you’re in Latvia! If you‘re looking for some peace and quiet you found the right place. The cabins are located directly at the lake with a lot of privacy. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. We definitely will come back to this beautiful place!

Lovely place and peacful stay at Jānis and Elinas place. Everything was clean and tidy, we had everything we needed for comfort. We stayed at New Year's eve, so house was decorated as well, which we found pretty nice and sweet. We recommend it to everyone who wants a peaceful vacation outside the city.

Staying on the island was an amazing experience! I only stayed here one night but i would advise to stay at least 2 nights. The tent was comfortable, clean and the fireplace kept it nice and warm during the night. Jurgiss is a great host and could tell us some more about the history of the area.

Der Bungalow liegt direkt am See, der Badesteg direkt vor unserem Haus, das Wasser ist klar und der Einstieg auch für Kinder toll, die ersten Meter sind weicher Sand - ein absolutes Highlight! Hinterm Haus kann man Blaubeeren pflücken, Pilze sammeln und wandern gehen. Ein traumhafter Ort 😍
