You’ll be in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by the sounds of birds, geckos and monkeys. At night, fireflies will come to your room. It was magical. Five rescue dogs will keep you safe and insist on cuddles when you arrive. 40 mins away from Sigiriya, but Maulie will help you arrange transport even in the middle of the night to go for sunrise hikes. Thank you so much for this lovely, authentic experience. Oh, and the food served is just amazing!

It is one of the most lovely stays I’ve had to date. The gorgeous place and customer service of Ashane and Udeshi were incomparable. They were so consistent from inquiry to post check out. As a solo female traveller, I felt incredibly safe in their place. Almost everything you need they have and if they don’t they will reach the extra mile to help you with it. It was such a great first impression of Sri Lanka’s warmth and hospitality. Will definitely stay with them again on another Negombo trip.

A great place to stay overall with no complaints! Beautiful interior matching the photos and the pool was amazing! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host was responsive when I asked questions - great experience! Special thanks to the housekeeper Oshan, who was polite and respectful, responsive, and waited for us to arrive for check-in (and we arrived quite late at night). It’s clear that he maintains a pristine home and works very hard. He should definitely have a raise! We didn’t have an issue with the location, but it is a bit of a drive (15-20 min) from Kandy City Centre and Sri Dalada Maligawa. Did not feel that bad though, we felt the quality of the home was much worth the slightly further location. Overall, we are very happy with our experience at Hasini’s place!

We just had a thoroughly enjoyable 3 nights over the Sri Lankan New Year. The staff on site were wonderfully attentive and friendly. Breakfast was fresh juice, fruit, toast and eggs. We opted to eat dinner there too and it was also excellent- grilled fish and curry. Good value as well. The kids loved the pool while my wife enjoyed being away from the more touristy areas, but only a short tuk tuk ride from supermarket, coffee shop and gym. Would definitely recommend for a few days relaxation! The staff also went above and beyond when my wife forgot some medicine- one jumped on a bus for 2 hours to bring it to her! Fantastic all round!

This is a great find for us, very beautiful surroundings and we just soaked it all in. Loved the layout of the house, and its airy-ness. No complaints at all, we will definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to just kick back and relax, or do some angling. The inhouse cook is very helpful and cook simple and tasty food.
