The apartment is in a terrace house without an elevator in Päivölä, which was completed in 1939. The center of Kotka is about 13 km and Karhula about 3 km. The apartment has been renovated as much as possible to its original state, and it is furnished on a circular economy basis, mainly with furniture designed by Aalto.
