We had such a pleasant stay at the Eco House! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach where you’ll find great restaurants, delicious food, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The surrounding nature is absolutely pristine, which made checking out genuinely difficult—we just didn’t want to leave. The villa is beautifully managed, with a friendly and helpful team that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights for us was that the property is completely off-grid, powered entirely by solar energy. It felt great knowing we could run the air conditioning while we were out without worrying about the environmental impact. Coming back to a cool and comfortable space was such a treat. The pool was perfect for a refreshing dip as we watched the sunset over the surrounding hills, as well as a refreshing way to wake up first thing in the morning! All in all, this was a wonderful, relaxing experience—we’d love to come back!

Super villa, très bien située en centre ville et magnifique. Les commerces sont accessibles à pieds, Lio est très réactif et sympathique, tous les services (locations de scooters, taxi) se sont très bien passés. Un des meilleurs rapport qualités prix du coin !

We had the most wonderful 10-day stay in this beautiful villa. It’s incredibly tastefully decorated, full of charm and small details that make it feel like home the moment you arrive. Everything was spotless and well cared for, and the staff were so kind, helpful and always ready with a smile. The location is perfect – close to all the best restaurants, beach bars and snorkeling spots, yet quietly tucked away. There’s no construction nearby, no noisy neighbors – just peace and quiet, which made it feel like our own little hideaway. And the breakfast at Mowie’s… absolutely fantastic. Such a treat to start the day in a place that beautiful, with food that good. Truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed – we couldn’t have asked for more!

Great villa and perfect location. The people where very friendly and help full. We enjoyed our stay very much. For sure we will go there again. Thank you for everything.

Nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueilli par Tony et sa famille. Ils ont été très gentils et c’était un plaisir de discuter avec eux pendant les repas. La chambre est conforme aux photos, rien à redire. Il n’y a pas trop d’endroit où dîner dans les alentours mais Tony et sa famille peuvent vous préparer des repas délicieux. Tony nous a aussi fait le guide pour un trek de 2h où nous avons vu des cascades. Possible aussi de louer un scoot. Les prix sont corrects, vous pouvez les demander en amont pour ne pas être surpris à la fin. C’est un très bon endroit où dormir pour profiter de la région.

We had an amazing time at the Jungle inn and around Tetebatu. The bungalow was comfortable, clean and the hosts were extremely friendly and make it feel like home. The surrounding forest, waterfalls, rice fields and village are stunning and there is enough to do in the local area within walking distance without having to venture too far. There is good local food very close to the homestay also. We would definitely return for another trip to enjoy the jungle inn, nature and good friends that we met while exploring Tetebatu. Would recommend highly to anyone staying in the area!

Ich habe Ameer in Sembelia auf einer Roller Fahrt kennengelernt und er hatte mich zur Unterkunft eingeladen. Ameer war mir direkt sehr sympathisch und als ich 2 Tage später dort ankam war ich komplett überwältigt. Die Lage und die Unterkunft sind so unglaublich schön, extrem sauber die Familie sind Herzens Gute Menschen, welche sehr gut englisch sprechen. Eine Sache die mir persönlich extrem gut gefallen hat war die Küche welche ich auch mitbenutzen durfte, weshalb ich mich noch schneller wie zuhause gefühlt habe. Am zweiten Tag habe ich mit Jihat dem Bruder von Ameer zusammen für die Familie gekocht. Alle können sehr gut englisch es gibt Gesellschaftsspiele und die Natur direkt neben dem Haus bietet extrem viele Möglichkeiten den Tag zu verbringen. Es werden Jungle Touren angeboten, wo man zusehen kann wie Palm Zucker hergestellt wird, des Weiteren werden Kochkurse im Jungle angeboten es gibt viele Flüsse nur 5 min zu Fuß entfernt in denen man schwimmen kann.3 mal noch verlängert

We had a lovely stay! We prefer being out of the main drag and taking the 15 min moped trip into town to eat. That suited our style when it comes to peace and quiet. House keeping is amazing. The view was superb! The ice bath was excellent. The Sunna got up to about 45-50 degrees. Grab a few bottles of wine from OWA and sit on the deck and take in the breathtaking view. Excellent boat and moped rental was a breeze. You have to get your own wheels to have the freedom and flexibility to explore.
