This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. The apartment is perfect for individuals/couples, with or without children, who do not need much indoor space. There are narrow stairs up in the apartment, i.e. unsuitable for people who are not fully mobile.

A house on the edge of the cliff. Direct view form the living area of the famous statue "The Seal Woman" and the steepest mountains in the Faroe Island. On 1st floor there is kitchen and living room in one room. In the kitchen there are the normal facilities. There is also a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that can accommodate 7 people. Outside the house there is a small balcony, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. You need to take a ferry to get to the house.

Marjun was a great host. She is very kind, friendly, and helpful. She recommended me the amazing places around the islands since I arrived. We also had a great conversation. The place is beautiful surroundings, peaceful and accessible to the great destinations most. I highly recommend to stay here, just hope to be there again when arriving in the faroe.

Katrin and her family are very nice hosts. We felt very comfortable and welcome in her home and had fun, good conversations. We will be happy to come back.

Our stay was just perfect! Extremely nice surroundings, and extremely nice and comfortable house just in front of the water. Mountains view from one window, waterfall view from another, water from the third one. The house itself is very clean, everything is new and prepared with love, also you can find everything you could need. We lived there only for two days but definitely would like to stay longer. Initially we had doubts regarding location, as you have to spend additional 20 minutes to drive to the main road from there, but it turned out to be the best time, when you can enjoy the nature and SHEEPS all the way. Also easy accessable at any weather. Definitely recommend to stay there as long as you can :)

What a beautiful cottage in such quiet surroundings - except for the rush of the waterfalls and the curlews crying! I spent a very rainy weekend at this comfy and cosy cottage, enjoying walks down to the harbour and to the end of the road, magnificent views across the water and up the hillside, watching the birds and the lambs, a wonderful place to get away from it all.

A charming black boathouse is situated by the foreshore, featuring a bright red door and windows that invite natural light. A wooden deck extends towards the water, bordered by a quaint stone wall. The surrounding grass adds a natural touch to the coastal setting.

There is no way to capture in pictures how beautiful the scenery is from this home. Absolutely stunning. Very comfortable for 2 people but the shower was a challenge. No way around that. It was an adventure trying to get a shower in and try not to fall and kill yourself. Small price to pay in my opinion and will 100% stay here again.

I'm not a regular airbnb guest but I have never experienced a host that bakes pancakes when the weather is too foul to leave or that gives so much usefull info on area and options to explore
