Humble mountain view home.

Michelle went above and beyond to make sure i was well taken care of during my first visit to Kodiak. A quaint home away from the city, I was greeted by two adorable cats periodically throughout my stay. The outdoor patio was too beautiful a view to explain, and i had a quiet afternoon of reading and journaling while listening to birds and gazing at mountains. Michelle made sure I had coffee, treats, and even had a slice of rhubarb coffee cake ready for me as a goodbye. She is amazing and I feel as though I’ve gained a really good Kodiak friend. If you like a quiet, beautiful place out of the city, and don’t mind sharing common areas of the house, this is the number one place I’d recommend staying at in Kodiak. Thank you for your kindness, Michelle!
A scenic view of the coastline is captured with gentle waves lapping at the shore. Tall grasses sway in the foreground, framing the tranquil water and rocky outcrops in the distance. The sky is filled with soft clouds, reflecting a serene natural landscape.

We were saddened that the hot tub was not working. So could only give them 5 stars…We had a great time. Local information was very helpful. Caught fish, got to see fox & even a bear. Would definately come again. Thanks so much for sharing your quiet cabin in the woods.

Eider House Natures Paradise • River Front Lodging

Very comfy and we had everything we needed! The sound of the creek out back and the cow pasture on the side of the home made for a wonderful country setting. Everyone had their own bathroom and all the beds were very comfortable. We had a short stay but we enjoyed it! Can't wait to return to Kodiak.

An Original View

This was one of my favorite, if not my favorite AirBnB stay. G’s place is an absolute treasure. Every detail of the home is unique and utterly charming. Every wall has a mural and every feature was clearly designed with care. For example, there are many handmade quilts, ceramics, and customized furniture. The serenity of the view is unparalleled. The bed is also very comfortable. I often have a hard time with beds that are too soft at AirBnBs but G’s mattress is on the firmer side, conferring excellent back support. I’m not sure when I will be back in Kodiak but I would love to stay again.

A cozy quiet getaway in the trees near trail heads

The place was nice comfortable. It’s especially stood out for us cause we have kids and there was toys around. Place was well stocked and very functional.
An outdoor area is seen, featuring a wooden bench positioned on lush green grass. Nearby, bare trees contrast with the greenery, while a view of a distant hillside is partially visible. The sky is partly cloudy, contributing to a serene atmosphere.

Eagles Nest

Cute little place to land after some adventures in Kodiak. I was there for only a day for a job interview and a little sightseeing. It had all the things one would need, warmed up pretty quickly with the heater, and was cozy when it warmed up. With that being said, I would not hesitate to stay there again.
