A little garden villa, Koh Lanta

We were consulting architects for a luxury hotel project on this island in 2001. Our employment contract was initially for eight months. However, we fell in love with the surrounding nature and decided to change our plans, choosing to settle in this wonderful place. We chose this location to build our house because of the many large trees and small waterways. We decided to preserve all the trees and design the house with their importance in mind, prioritizing them over the building itself.

The villa has a lounge bedroom, with a king size bed and two sofas. A mezzanine with three single beds. A full kitchen with hob, fridge freezer and dining table. It’s very spacious with a large outside balcony. Plus a 42 inch TV with Netflix etc. Under new ownership from 1st May 2024. We are had an incredible high season from Oct 24 - May 2025. It’s been a blast, but also without its challenges. Our guests have been great, amazing and fun and we have enjoyed hosting them. So thank you!
