Suite at Binna Burra

EdoardoRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Our stay at Binna Burra has been simply amazing! Carol is funny and friendly and she made us feel at home form the first moment. The suite is an incredible space surrounded by nature, with wild animals walkin around and the best atmosphere for chilling and reconnect with nature. At night you can have a fully starred sky and breath the pure air of Maine. Really one of the best vacation I've ever had.
A cozy sleeping area features a wooden bed frame adorned with a textured quilt. Soft pillows are arranged on the spacious bed. Natural light enters through large windows and a glass-paned door, illuminating the warm, neutral walls and wooden accents.

Farmhouse Suite w/ Private Entrance—Midcoast

Easy access to all the sights we wanted to see in the area. We only stayed for one night, but it seems like a lovely albeit rustic property - likely more abundant with crops and such the rest of the year.

Studio in Sweet Cottage Style Home, roomy/fresh

LorinRating, 5 stars8 months ago
While I had a difficult time finding the cute little house on a dirt road in Lincolnville ME, it was definitely worth the effort. The studio is a large bright room in Victoria’s house with a gas burning stove in case the Maine nights get chilly even in late summer. The room even has a wine cooler as the charming host, Victoria, has a wine business. The no shoes policy is not a problem as I do that in my own house as well…. Sharing the bathroom and the kitchen worked out fine. The only difficulty is the spotty internet service for cell phone calls, texts and computers, but that is explained by being in the midst of tall trees in the Maine woods. The nearby area of Lincolnville Beach is a bit touristy but nice. Proximity to the picturesque towns of Camden, Rockport and Rockland is also a plus.

Convenient, peaceful-close to town&mountains&lake

RebekahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Had a delightful and relaxing stay. Loved all the interesting art & decor, it reminded me of stays in my grandparent's basement and all the carefully selected chapters of their lives on display. Hosts are friendly, gracious, and shared homemade cheesecake which was an absolute treat! Baked goods and pizza from Megunticook Market (awesome recommendation) made meals easy. Bed was comfortable and linens were soft and delightful, they even had a down throw, my cover of choice for sleeping and reading. I felt right at home but also experienced a getaway to a mountain cabin. Perfect! Wifi was strong and I was able to work easily. A wonderful area to walk in and convenient to Camden & Rockland. I will definitely return!
A well-lit corridor showcases a kitchenette area on the left, equipped with basic kitchen appliances and utensils. The walls are painted in a soft beige, enhancing the natural light. To the right, a door leads to a room, while a small table stands near the kitchenette.

Midcoast Retreat with Fireplace Near Downtown

KatieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We felt at home the moment we stepped inside Carrie's thoughtfully, artfully accommodating studio. Absolutely loved the creative touches and decor. During our 6 night stay the Murphy bed was super comfortable and lowering it in the evening and raising in the morning was easy. Thomaston was central to all our traveling goals, from the Olson House in Cushing, to Camden. to Owls Head, to the Farnsworth Museum, to the Wooden Boat campus and more. Highly recommend the Thomaston walking tour from the house to the waterfront. Carrie's gardens and the outdoor deck added a peaceful winding down in the evenings. Our experience was great. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
A bright living area features tall windows that provide a clear view of the surrounding landscape. Light curtains drape elegantly over the windows, while a soft gray armchair and relaxing sofa create a comfortable seating space. A flat-screen TV is mounted on the wall.

Camden Oceanview Luxury Suite Fireplace Deck KING

ElizabethRating, 5 stars35 months ago
My husband and I recently had the great pleasure of staying in JoAnne's "A Little Dream" carriage house in Camden, Maine. The carriage house has two suites. Both are lovely but, for our stay, we chose "IsleWatch," a beautifully decorated space with great attention paid to every detail, and the most comfortable king-sized bed we have ever slept on! It's larger than a typical king and is covered with fine linens for a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom was also luxurious with its large tub (it has a shower as well) and big, fluffy towels. We felt at home immediately. In the mornings and evenings, it was an added treat to sit outside on the fabulous covered terrace with views of the garden and of the water. This spacious home away from home had all the amenities you could ask for (including fresh cut flowers from the property's gorgeous garden), and the hosts, JoAnne and Bill, could not have been nicer. We felt very pampered having hot coffee delivered to our room every morning (just outside our door for optimal privacy) and our every need anticipated and tended to. JoAnne was always attentive and has a wealth of knowledge about the area, which she loves to share with her guests. She clued us in to the best restaurants and sights in Camden and its neighboring towns. It was an ideal setting for us and a great location -- a pleasant walk to the heart of Camden. We have already booked our next stay at the carriage house and can't wait to return. Thank you, JoAnne and Bill!
A red and white lighthouse stands on a rocky outcrop, surrounded by calm blue waters. A long stone jetty extends from the shore, leading toward the lighthouse, with distant hills visible along the horizon. The scene is bathed in clear, bright sunlight.
