In addition, there are a number of downhill ski slopes and cross-country ski trails available in winter. By car, the popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in approx. 10 minutes. At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

In the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, you will find the newly renovated vacation home, also known as “Hühnerhuis” in family circles. Here you can experience unique sunrises. If you want to enjoy absolute peace, this is the place to be! Hiking trails, bike trails, and various attractions are very close. Among other things, alpaca hikes are possible directly in the village. Just ask us about excursion destinations and we will be happy to help you. Pets are not allowed.

Little Village House

A historical clay house renovated with natural materials with modern comfort and heating in Tann sourrounded by beautiful nature. The kitchen is fully equipped. Also fireplace available. Ideal for hikers, bikers, riders. Skiing possibilities 15 min to drive. The historical center of Tann is nearby with nice Cafes, 3 castles and a small Museum. No smoking and no dogs and cats allowed in the house. Little garden in construction for use. Barn to store bikes and motorbikes.

Dear potential guests: Whether you are passing through, for a short break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - e.g. on the balcony with a view. The sofa-bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our cafe has breakfast on weekdays from 6 or 7 o'clock on weekends.

Helle, moderne Dachgeschosswohnung die im Jahr 2024 kernsaniert wurde. Das Apartment ist ca. 70 qm groß, verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer mit einem großen Doppelbett ohne Fußteil (200x200 cm), einem großzügigen Bad mit Regenwalddusche sowie einem einladenden Wohn-Ess-Bereich mit moderner, vollausgestatteter Küchenzeile und Schlafsofa. Zudem ist ein Balkon mit Süd-West-Ausrichtung vorhanden. Die Wohnung besitzt eine Fußbodenheizung und einen großen SAT-TV.

Cozy tiny house in the Rhön Mountains

The tiny house for unique days in the Hessian Rhön stands in the large garden next to a second tiny house. From the house and from the terrace you have an unobstructed beautiful view of the valley. The house is fully equipped. It is made up of a bathroom with shower and water toilet, kitchenette, dining table, fold-out sofa, satellite TV, Wi-Fi. A staircase leads to the cozy sleeping area. Hot tub/ hot tub for a fee (on request/ upon availability).

Elderflower House

Our house is located in Rüdenschwinden in one of the most beautiful low mountain ranges in Germany. Rüdenschwinden is a small, charming village not far from the Schwarzes Moor and Fladungen. The vacation home is detached and surrounded by a 600 square meter, fully fenced garden. Here everyone will find a place to relax, play or linger. Dogs are also welcome. The property has a car parking space. From the two balconies you can enjoy a scenic view.

Vacation home "Casa Lore"

In the 2-story accommodation, the bathroom, a bedroom, and the fully equipped kitchen are located on the first floor. Upstairs are another bedroom and the living room. The quiet garden invites you to linger and relax. Two sun loungers are also available in summer. Feel free to use the organic herbs and vegetables from the in-house greenhouse. Frankenheim/Rhön is the ideal starting point for both city and nature excursions.

A separate entrance and a private terrace allow you to forget everyday life in peace. The Ulmenstein extra tour and a star park as well as the Basaltsee Ulmenstein are in the immediate vicinity. The baroque town of Fulda is only 20 km away. There you can explore the beautiful cathedral,the great old town and many other beautiful excursion destinations.
