Enchanting Tolkienesque Stone Cottage in the Woods

DrewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Theresa really nailed the Tolkien-esque vibe with her beautiful home. The ambiance, view, and privacy were all perfect for my wife and I's honeymoon stay. This place is surrounded by nature so be prepared for the usual things being out in the woods entails. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the hot tub and hiking around the property in addition to seeing the sights throughout the gorge. The free L2 EV charging was an unexpected and very welcome bonus for ensuring that we could explore as far as we wanted!

Romantic upscale cabin in the woods

JimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This cabin has become one of my all-time favorite places to stay. It's the perfect retreat to unwind and relax. We've been visiting every year for several years now, and each time feels just as magical as the first. The cabin is incredibly peaceful, comfortable, and cozy, offering great views of the Columbia river and delightful visits from deer, elk, and wild turkeys. Its proximity to all the key attractions in the Gorge makes sightseeing and hiking both easy and convenient.

Klickitat Canyon Cabin

KatherineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband and I absolutely adored Klickitat Cabin. Before we even arrived Beda was excellent about communicating, and when we stepped inside we wanted to move in immediately (and wished we'd booked a few extra days there). The interior design is pitch perfect, from the colors of the pillows and linens and rugs to the art on the walls, but it's one of those places that's also as cozy and comfortable as it is stylish and chic (which I find to be rare). The kitchen had everything we needed; they more than provided for our little mini schnauzer with a bed and blankets and bowls; the views out the windows are beautiful; the beds were superbly comfortable, and the sound of the bugs was the perfect white noise. We had a great hike on Catherine Creek, too! Would absolutely recommend.

A Cozy Night Out

ShannonRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Lisa was an amazing host and this cozy space was perfect for our much needed night away. Our day was spent at a local winery in the Gorge, Jacob Williams Winery - highly recommeded! The provided smores were a great midnight treat with our wine! Lisa helped us navigate the wild fires that were obscuring roads on this very day. Her updates were helpful and even though we got there late, we had a blast, playing games till the wee hours of the morning. She even let us know in the morning that the roads were cleared and gave us an amazing breakfast spot too, Carmen's Kitchen. Before breakfast we had a lovely nature walk on their gorgeous property and the babbling brook was serene. Thank you so much Lisa and family for sharing your home with us. Shannon and Pete Cassaday

J&J Forest Cabin Stay

KristaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Joy’s tiny house is fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Pristine, cute, comfortable, and a beautiful location. Everything has so much thought and care put into it. The outdoor shower was amazing- loved that. Outdoor kitchen with the gas grill was awesome. We cooked our food the whole time. The composting toilet was super clean. Not stinky or uncomfortable in the least, for those who might be reluctant to pull the trigger on this gem because of it. Joy and Joshua are super friendly, helpful hosts. You could hear the river all day, owls and turkey at night. Bugs weren’t too bad. So much hiking nearby. 10/10 overall. We would love to be back!

Mountain Views, Hot Tub, Elks at Mt Rainier

CharlesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great place with everything you need. Town has all amenities you would need. Beds were comfortable- not the most toddler friendly place (although most places aren’t built for that anyhow). Only issue was intermittent power outages which are expected in isolated mountain towns- not the hosts fault but when you buy food to cook and plan to sit in hot tub, it makes a difference. Next time will come more prepared to use bbq instead. Overall, would recommend

This place was stunning and absolutely dreamy! Favorite camping experience so far in the Gorge. Super private with a jaw dropping view of Mt. Hood. Dagmar was responsive to my questions and even checked in to make sure all was well. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!
