Waterfront vacation rentals in Klaksvík

Really cozy apartment in a nice and quite surrounding overlooking the fjord. We had everything we needed and the apartment gets warm quickly with the heating. You just have to be aware that it is quite a drive to get to the spots because the cute little town is at the far end of a road but everything isn’t far on the Faroe.

The apartment was incredibly well appointed with everything you might possibly need in the kitchen, including a full array of herbs and spices. The owners were very helpful and always on hand in needed.

L'emplacement est magnifique, face à l'océan avec deux chemins d'accès au bord de mer. Deux fenêtres donnent de la salle a manger sur l'océan. Tout est très calme et l'activité à l'étage très modeste et tout à fait supportable, pas gênante du tout. Le salon est un peu sombre, pas orienté vers la vue mais très confortable, avec des plaids et de confortables coussins. La literie est excellente, et la salle de bain fonctionnelle. la décoration est adaptée et de bon goût. La cuisine est très bien équipée, cafetière, grille pain, bouilloire, micro-onde et lave-vaisselles. Nancy nous a bien aidé lors du marathon afin que nous ne soyons pas coincé par les barrages. A recommander sans hésiter.

Wir sind 2 Motorradfahrer und nutzen Sunneva Wohnung 3 Tage als unser "Basislager". Die Wohnung befindet sich im Keller und ist komplett ausgestattet. Wir freuten uns über sehr gute bequeme große Betten. Für Familien mit einem kleinen Kind wäre sogar ein Kinderbett da. Die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, sodass man sich selbst verpflegen kann. WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei in der Küche und Wohnzimmer. In den Schlafzimmern bedingt. Unsere Motorräder konnten wir direkt vor dem Eingang parken. Would stay here any time I’m in the Faroe Islands! They are incredibly responsive and also went out of their way to get us tissues when we told them we kept getting runny noses due to the weather. The house itself is always warm and very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring many Faroe Island attractions (Mykines, lake above the ocean, witch’s finger, etc.) I appreciate the fully dark blinds to cover the windows. Note that the pillows are very soft and you might want to bring your own if that is an issue. Nicolina’s place is the basement of a house and there are soft footstep sounds above if you are a light sleeper.

This was a wonderful stay to get away from the hustle and bustle. Very clean and homey. The beds were very comfortable and the small town we were in was very peaceful. It is in a good, central location to be a home base for day trips. The couple that owns the home is very friendly. We had our two small children with us and I was never worried about their comfort or safety while staying in the Faroe Islands.

We were fortunate enough to stay here for 3 nights. The 2-storied unit appears to be brand new, and as such, is warm, bright, and airy, and a real delight to walk into. There are large windows on the front of both stories looking out to the fiord - perfect to enjoy while having your meals there! The kitchen is fully equipped (although no microwave), and came with extras, such as ground coffee, various teas, and some snack items, all of which were appreciated. Both the bathroom and bedroom(s) are generously sized, and an added bonus for us was the addition of a washing machine. Parking is available on the road edge, while there is a large Bonus supermarket just across the road. It is just over 1km to the town center. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and would not hesitate to recommend this to travelers looking for comfort and quality on the outskirts of Klaksvik!

Das Haus ist sehr groß und besonders komfortabel. Es ist blitzsauber und gepflegt und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Aus den Fenstern hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Landschaft und Leirvik. Die Effo-Tankstelle reicht für die Grundversorgung absolut aus und bietet deutlich mehr als eine normale Tankstelle in Deutschland, z.B. auch Frischfleisch. Das Haus ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Touren auf die Nordinseln. Wir hatten netten Kontakt mit Halla und Pauli und würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können alles absolut empfehlen. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir auch, dass Pauli jederzeit und sehr schnell auf unsere Fragen geantwortet hat.

Beautiful home, clean, peaceful and quiet. Exceptional view of the water and evening sunset. Convenient location for walking around Kunoy village and taking the ferry to Kalsoy for the Kallur lighthouse. Good food options within 15min in Klaksvík. Responsive hosts with good recommendations for activities in the area.

het huis is heel gezellig en proper, en de troef is een prachtig zicht op Klaksvík en de mooie natuur. Bovendien perfect gelegen want schitterende hiking mogelijk zonder te ver te moeten rijden. Ook de supermarkt is heel dichtbij. Heel vriendelijke host, met het hart op de juiste plaats.

Vores vært, Maria, mødte os med meget stor venlighed og fleksibilitet - vores fly var 8 timer forsinket og selv da vi ankom meget sent på aftenen var Maria i huset med te og meget stor imødekommenhed. Har kun godt at sige om vores vært!!!

It is the second time I am in the same house and I could be many times. Helena is a very kind and nice host, even if I haven,t personally met her. The communication with her was easy. Everything was perfect.

We had a comfortable stay and the views were awesome. All required amenities were available. Highly recommend for sightseeing in the Northern Islands.

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

Excellent location, and place was just as described. No disappointed. Kitchen is very well equipped. After a hike it was nice to chill out on the sofa.

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

Guðrun was super friendly and provided us with a lot of suggestions to do in the area. The place was small but nice and cozy. The furniture was brand new with everything we needed. The apartment had a nice view of the mountains around it and was in the center of where we wanted to hike and see.

Was für eine tolle Aussicht! Man hat schön Platz in der Wohnung, sie ist sehr geräumig. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht (Einrichtung ist live love laugh style). Super Gastgeber!

Io e mia moglie abbiamo trascorso 6 giorni in questo splendido appartamento. Molto pulito e funzionale. Tanto spazio, Cucina ben attrezzata, tanti elettrodomestici, una grande Smart TV, ma soprattutto vista stupenda. La posizione è ottima per visitare le Isole Faroe, in poco tempo si può raggiungere la capitale è tutte le isole. Non ci sono molti ristoranti vicino, per quelli bisogna spostarsi nella capitale che comunque dista solo 30 minuti. A 10 minuti c’è un supermercato ben fornito. Raccomandiamo questo appartamento a tutti quelli che vogliono godersi la pace delle Isole Faroe con una posizione strategica ma anche super tranquilla.
