james place is nice,neat and clean. I had a tough time on day 1 as there was no power, no fan no ac. I requested for a fan and the host provided it the next day. They are very responsive and cooperative. Due to its remote location, i had to meet my clients in Kitwe downtown. I was forced to spend additional on these meetings and it was extremely inconvenient for me. I believe this is good for people who want a silent stay away from the busy life of a city. This place is not good for business / working class guests. Otherwise i wish to go back and stay when i need a quite break away from busy life. i wish James and his team the very best.

Chitimba was an amazing hostess. She welcomed us in person and gave us a walk-about of the apartment. Everything we needed to feel at home, including a fully kitted kitchen with all utensils for own cooking (with a choice of electric or gas stove!). Upon arrival, the caretaker immediately washed our car (totally unexpected but hugely appreciated). My children enjoyed watching sport on dstv and I was able to connect to netflix :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sadly, our travel plans changed unexpectedly and we had to leave a day earlier. Chitimba was very understanding and within a day had send me a refund for the day cancelled. Let me add that the grounds are beautiful and the garden is well manicured. Chitimba shared that she had designed the garden herself. I have taken notes and will be trying some of the designs at my home. It was an amazing place and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
