During my stay, I found the accommodation to be excellent value for money. The host was responsive and ensured my safety. Benon, in particular, was very helpful in setting up transportation using Uber and bolt and also provided advice on where to tour while in the city. The privacy was great cause Ben was always at work. The plunge pool was a convenient amenity for relaxing in the evenings, especially given the hot weather in Dar es Salaam. However, I did notice that the kitchen cabinets could use some renovation. Additionally, theres a generator but loud when in use. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.” 😊

It was the first time for my and my wife to visit Daresalaam, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Christina and Edgar were very committed in ensuring we enjoyed or stay. The house was very neat and clean, a walking distance to nearby restaurants and easily accessible. A very quiet neighborhood as well. The check in and check out process was also perfect.

Elsa was a great and responsive host and the team at Amariah were welcoming and helpful. A quite oasis in the thriving mikocheni neighborhood. Plenty of shops close by for all your needs, 20 minutes by walk to large shopping plaza. 10–15 minutes to the masaki peninsula and all its activities.

The best place to stay in Dar. Located in the upscale region of Masaki reknown for it's utmost secure, neat, quiet, and peaceful environment. The area offers great streets for evening walks and runs. The host was so kind and professional. I just found my new home every time I am in Dar Es Salaam.

We stayed at the place for 2 weeks in May 2025, it was really great and it felt so much at home. The responsiveness and friendliness of the host was the best, it made our stay easy and relaxing. The location was very good for us as we needed to go to town and other parts of Dar es Salaam often. Among the airbnb's we've stayed in different countries, this was the best in terms of customer service and relaxing environment. Peace and security was another thing we liked a lot, and also extra services like Netflix, very good WiFi. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting Dar for business or leisure and wishing to stay close to local surroundings, of course this is not luxury hotel quality and its not meant to be that but its the best "home-like" local environment and best customer service money can buy.

We had a wonderful day at Allegra‘s home. The space is tastefully decorated and with all necessary bedding and kitchen utensils. The location is really central not too far from supermarkets, restaurants, the Peninsula and city Centre. Allegra was very responsive and proactive to provide solutions when necessary, and the security staff were also very friendly, helpful and ready to fix things. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend the place to anybody looking for short term or long-term accommodation In Dar.

A beautiful and great place! Namangi Cottage is a great place. It’s a big and clean house with a beautiful garden and it’s like you sitting in designed place. Rooms are also nice, and the kitchen is so nice. Lot of space with very good household utensils such as pots, plates, frying pans and more. Impressing! Maybe you can fix the oven, its hard to know hove it works. You have friendly and good people working around the house, just to keep the garden fresh and clean. It can be a little bit hard to find for taxi drivers, but Nashi will help you to get a good driver who knows the ways. Maybe you can but in some maps to show where to go to the beaches and so. Me and my wife was married in Namangi Cottage. Nashi and other people were so helpful, so our wedding become a memory for ever. Thanks for all help! We recommend this place for everyone. With love. What started with a one week stay, turned almost into one month for my little family and I. So I would definitely like to take some time to write a thoughtful review for other guests considering staying here. The place is exactly like the photos - very green, breezy, and peaceful. We have felt like we are at a home away from home here, due to a combination of factors - from personal touches and thoughtfulness from Grace herself, who is so positive, hardworking and joyful - to just the energy of the place itself - calm, cool, and live and let live. Her staff are very kind and helpful, and if you ever need anything, they are there to help. If you have small children, I would say this place is quite safe and secure, not many typical hazards to watch out for with little ones so you can feel easy walking from your contained room to the pergola for breakfast or up the driveway to catch a taxi. All in all, definitely recommend, not just for the space itself but the lovely folks behind it.
