It’s like a step back from reality, the peace and tranquillity you find here is like non other. Your own deck overlooking the creek to enjoy morning coffee,evening relaxing with an adult beverage or casting a line.There are stairs to creek level, a fishing/ launch area for the provided kayaks. The Gingerbread House is on the same property. Friends,family or other guest can rent as well. The only thing shared is parking ,steps n creek. Bathhouse is separate. Welcome to Snyder Co., PA! Our basement apartment has 1 queen bed & 1 bathroom. (Air mattress available upon request, for additional 2 people) The basement is all one open area, with a private bathroom. It is a shared house with our family of 5, but the apartment has its own private entrance and no shared spaces. Since the apartment is in the basement of the house where we live with our 3 children, you will hear footsteps and noises. PLEASE DO NOT book if that will be a problem for you!

Take a short walk or drive to Shikellamy State Park to enjoy the walking/bike paths and boat launch areas (check boating season schedule by contacting the park before bringing your boat) or do some nature watching.
