Cultraverse Dambulla

LukaszRating, 5 stars3 months ago
It's difficult to find words to explain how amazing our experience in Chamila's place was. We haven't been received as guests, we felt more like a part of the family. Chamila is very hospitable, polite and humble and she, together with the whole family, including Snowy and Scooby, made us feel welcomed, we learned a lot about Sri Lanka, we ate amazing food (!) prepared by her mother and Elena even had a chance to try on one of Chamila's beautiful saris. Not to mention that she helped us to arrange all the trips in the area (and there's much to see - Dambulla is exactly in the middle of the "cultural triangle") and that we received parting gifts which will make us remember the visit when we're back home (we would anyway!). I've been staying in hundreds of places over the years and this is definitely on my personal top three list. If you're reading this, stop looking for different accommodation. You've just found what you wanted and you will never forget this place afterwards.
A spacious room features two beds with crisp white bedding, and a mosquito net suspended above. Large windows with wooden frames allow natural light to fill the space, offering a view of the garden. A bedside table and a ceiling fan are visible.

Sanjini and her family made us very welcome in their place. You have the whole upstairs space so it is spacious and private but also with the home style hospitality as well. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms lovely and clean. I would highly recommend staying here. I wish we could have stayed longer.

King Reach Private Villa

MaduraRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The stay at King reach (Dulitha's place) was fantastic. The villa is the perfect place to unwind after traveling a long distance. Especially the garden is just beautiful. The communication was also very nice and Dulitha is extremely helpful. The caretaker Wimalasena is very kind and always available. His care and support for guests is next-level. The large ancient lake (Nuwara wewa) built by kings (in front of the property) adds a massive value to the property. The location provides easy access to all the main places in Anuradhapura. Also it is a very calm and peaceful place to relax with your family. The kitchen is equipped with all the facilities and tools we need. The beds are very comfortable and clean. All in all the location is very Safe and comfortable. kids friendly too. We would come back anytime! Thank you for the unforgettable time! Thank you so much for hosting us.
Lush greenery surrounds the area, featuring dense foliage and various types of plants. A natural pathway is visible through the grass, leading toward a secluded space. Sunlight filters gently through the trees, creating a calm and inviting outdoor environment.

Dinuka Village

RinzeRating, 5 stars101 months ago
If you want to visit the sights of Dembulla, Sigiriya, Pollonaruwa and/or one of the national parks, we highly recommend Dinuka Village. The central location, though the room is quitely away from the main road, super friendly and helpful hosts, and bus stop in front of the place make this an ideal location. Beside the great guesthouse, Habarane itself is not the nicest town.
A charming exterior of a one-story building, featuring columns and intricate woodwork. The facade is painted in a rich teal color, complemented by wooden doors and windows. Potted plants and greenery are visible along the walkway, enhancing the natural setting.

Dambulla Hills Resort

PeterRating, 5 stars75 months ago
Lovely location, house, pool and most importantly great hospitality! We spent 3 nights in the large house on this small 5 house estate, there were a couple of niggles but overall we had a lovely stay. The house was spacious with AC in all the bedrooms and a functional kitchen should we have wanted to use it + a large lounge area with a dining table. The Swimming pool was beautiful and as mentioned elsewhere, it is up near the main reception/dinning area so a short walk away. The Jewell in this particular stay was a man called Lakshman who was a wonderful host and couldn't do enough to make our stay great... we were greeted each day when we returned by Glasses of fresh fruit juice and his cooking was amongst the best we had during our 2 week holiday. Communication with Dilum was quick and efficient. Overall a great venue but you need a driver. .
A wooden desk is positioned next to a chair, with a small vase containing a flower. A mirror reflects the setup, showcasing the simplicity of the decor in a well-lit space.

Plenty of wildlife to be seen in the area and even in the backyard of the property. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. You can order food from the restaurant and they have tallented chefs to serve your needs.

Villa Dambulla

MichaelRating, 5 stars79 months ago
We had a great stay at Dambulla Villa. We used it as a base to see Sigiriya and other Cultural Triangle sites. Virani was most helpful, while Sunil and Mary knocked out delicious foot. Sitting out on the veranda with a gentle breeze was lovely.
