For your safety there are shelters in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, which are located in the underground parking lot in the shopping center or at the metro station. This was such a wonderful location! So peaceful and the home was really well insulated so I couldn’t hear the air raid sirens; I could only hear the bombs if they were very near, which was rare. The location was superb; I ate downstairs at the Georgian Restaurant at least 10 times during my stay- I highly recommend it! Also, her mother lives next door and was so sweet. She tidied up the place for me for Christmas and helped me fix a small problem with a leaky sink. She’s just so nice and so helpful! This place was one of the best places I could imagine staying in Kharkiv!

Olga is great! Very kind and responsive, given the fact that she is in the middle of a war zone. We didn’t actually stay, but I am certain it would have been a pleasure to do so.
