Vacation rentals in Kervashe

This was my second visit to the Captain's Bungalow. For me, it is a place for self reflection and a place to admire what nature has to offer in its raw form. People here are fantastic hosts and leave you with a come-back feel - Perumal, Kishore, Lakshmi akka, Sundaresh, Thimmanna, Anil they all pamper you with simple things but great value. Rooms are rustic and cozy. They provide Simple tasty Malnad food with Great Love - ask for customisation they will go all the way to fulfil. Dogs in the campus keep you entertained and are helpful walking partners, especially Boney and Pinky. Wherever you see there is greenery (if you crib about insects and fauna, it is not your place. This place is a part of undisturbed nature). All day orchestra by birds, peacocks and crickets. Love every bit of it here. Unfortunately some guests brought in urban noise and loud music to CB. Sad to see how some people want to live the same life in such peaceful places. Luckily they stopped it on request!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 1BHK villa on Mattu Beach, Udupi. The spacious property is clean, well-maintained, and offers private beach access. The peaceful surroundings made it a serene experience. One can easily spot peacocks in the surroundings that added charm to the place. The villa includes a living room, kitchen, bedroom, separate toilet and bathroom with all essentials provided, making our stay very convenient. Special thanks to our host, Vivek, who stayed in touch from the moment we booked. He guided us with the best route from Bangalore and recommended great seafood spots in Mangalore and Udupi. He even insisted we try the delicious Gajbaje Sundae at Naturals – a must-try! We arrived to a warm welcome with hot tea. The caretakers were lovely and served delicious breakfast daily. Their hospitality added to the charm of our stay. Overall, we had an amazing experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Udupi!

I stayed at the Riverside Airbnb in Udupi for 2 days, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by serene nature and a peaceful riverside view that made the stay very relaxing. Veronica Aunty was extremely warm and hospitable, always ready to help with a smile. Her kindness truly added a special touch to our trip. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

The patio is 10 steps away from the beach. The place is exactly as described in the listing. There were minimalistic but thoughtful amenities provided to make the stay very comfortable. Our stay was made lovelier by Kamala (the caretaker/cook) and her family's undivided attention. They were caring but non-intrusive. We had all the meals in the premise itself. The beach itself provided for a lot of activities. The stray dogs were very aggressive, carrying a stick helped. Other than that, the neighbourhood is quiet but not deserted.

What stood out during our stay at Blue Oasis farm was family like interaction and personal care by Ms. Helen, Susie, Jason and their lovely children. The overall experience was just great-the drive through Charmady Ghat from Bangalore, the property nestled within the large scenic green beautiful farm full of coconut and areca nut trees, herbs, flowers, and banana plantation. The dip in the Phalguni river that runs through the property was really special. The food with ingredients from the farm was delicious. Jason showed us planets and stars with his telescope. The location itself provides access to temples, waterfalls, treks, and beaches within a 1 - 2hr drive. Susie gave us map locations to these places. We trekked up Karinjeshwara temple (four yugas temple), spent a great time at Padubidri beach near Mangalore, visited the Annapoorneshwari temple just 30 mins away etc. We bought fresh food products, and cosmetics from the hosts. Next trip to cover more. Highly recommend.

This place was a hidden gem. Location was absolutely perfect. It was across the beach which was clean unexplored and just a wide stretch of white sand ! The house was also sufficient, perfect for a large group. The pool was a good size, and added to the house. Ashok got us our supplies and made great homemade food. Also the restaurant Kaai at Nilaya stays had some great food. Only regret is we got to know about surfing lessons the night before we left ! So if you stay here please check at the reception at Nilaya stays and they will hook you up. We were on a week long road trip from Bangalore with 5 adults and 4 kids and everyone loved this place and location the best !

We stayed three nights at Shravan's place. The host maintained good communication through out. The house is away from main road and right in the middle of a farm). The house is a well decorated spacious place and the view around and surroundings are treat for nature lovers. The house is adequately equipped with necessities . The host had kept tea powder, coffee powder, drinking water and sufficient utensils for us and hot water readily filled in the geyser. The surroundings are serene and peaceful. The host also offered to use his two wheeler free of cost. Only the access road to the house is narrow for a big SUV. It is a "Kaccha" road with tricky turns. A few hotels and grocery stores are nearby ( accessible by vehicle). I recommend this inexpensive place, a good value for your money. Thanks and regards, Mahesh Desai

The most amazing stay around Udupi. It was quiet and peaceful and the location was perfect. The beach was barely 20 steps from the house and it has a private beach vibe. The weather was perfect for a leisure vacation. The house was very clean and there were snacks kept there. The caretaker, Sadashiv uncle, was also very kind and helpful. The property itself was very cozy and beautiful. The bedroom window view is the beach and the best part of the house. There's a kitchen area if you fancy making a meal. Very aesthetic feel to the property. the property manager, Mr. Sandesh, was also very responsive and helpful which made the stay very comfortable. Definitely recommend this stay, especially during the rains.
