Home was clean, comfortable and during a weekend heat wave, nice and cool. Easy communication and checkin. Would book again.

Our stay at Angels Hill was great! The perfect place to unplug and relax as a family. We have young kids (1 and 3.5) and it was perfect for them! Lots of space to play outside, the shaded deck was perfect for the 1 year old, and lots of kid necessities included (high chair seat, pack and play, plastic plates, etc). We loved adventuring around to hike and play in creeks in the area. We plan to come back!

This was an amazing place! Very huge, comfortable and amazing game room! Definitely would stay again! Definitely worth it.

Really enjoyed our stay! This is our second time staying in the home and we truly enjoy how close it is to restaurants and shops. The best part is that you can hear the river as soon as you step out the front door. Literally reach the river in a couple of steps, and deer even roam the street. Travis and Trishia provided clear chech-in and check- out instructions, sent messages making sure we were doing well after our first night, and gave me recommendations for a great river spot when I asked. The home is clean, kitchen has everything you need, backyard is great for relaxing by the fire pit and enjoying some smores. Highly recommend staying here!

This was the second time my family and I stayed here. We love the pool, the spacious patio, and secluded location. We had a little issue but Nikki and the property manager Karen did everything in their power to resolve and fix things and they did. Karen was very responsive and helpful. Always a great place to stay.

The pristine pool table-swimming pool combo was brilliant, a perfect venue for our three-generation holiday. Memorial Day weekend and the throngs of families out to enjoy themselves along the Kern River and Sequoia NF were an expected part of the bustle, and local services with super-cheerful staff were up to it. A beautiful tranquil curvy drive around the mountain, away from traffic and into peaceful countryside. Not far from the freeway exit, and yet a world away from hustle and bustle. Recommend this farm stay for fresh air, beautiful views, cozy home and time to unwind. Hosts were friendly but gave plenty of space to just be. We enjoyed the animals, especially the sweet cats who would spend snuggle time on the porch steps while enjoying the amazing view of the stars at night. Space to walk and explore. Horses, friendly dogs, chickens happily clucking around, yet nights were quiet, and days peaceful. Keene is a tiny berg, but we really enjoyed the Cèsar Chávez national monument & delightful restaurant for breakfast. Bakersfield and Tehachapi not far away for other restaurant options and groceries. Enjoyed our stay and would come back if in the Bakersfield area!

The house was nice and the beds were comfortable, but the backyard was like a little paradise. There are fruit trees, a swimming pool, and a nice covered patio area. We had several meals at the table outside and even though it was warm, there was always a nice breeze. We all really enjoyed the swimming pool and there were a couple of inflatables available for use as well, which was a nice touch. Martha was quick to respond to any questions I had.

We really loved rafting and cooling off in the Kern River during the day and climbing the road back up here to the forest for our weekend nights. Dream weekend.

Quito was great with communication and was quick to respond. Helpful and easy going. House was clean, comfortable and felt like home. Though there is nothing walking distance from the house, but the local attractions are just few minute drives away.

Loved staying here for the week! The cabin was very cute and had everything I needed plus a stocked kurig and a lovely hot chocolate station, which was such a nice touch. It was very clean and cozy and I would love to stay again when I am back in the area. Very close to town but was nice to be out along the kern river.

We had a nice 2-night stay. Beds were comfortable. Showers worked well. Kitchen well stocked. We bought all groceries we would need in Bakersfield. There is a small grocery/restaurant very close, but we didn't go in. It's a nice 45 minute drive to the closest site in Sequoia: Trail of 100 Giants. The only issue (and it is general to the area and not specific to this cabin) is that there is no cell service in the area. Coming from the west, we lost it about Ducor, and didn't regain it until we returned to that point. Just be aware in case you need to communicate with anyone by means other than through WiFi at the cabin (which worked fine). The specific issue I had was that text-based or cell-call two-factor authentication is not possible.
