Vacation rentals with a kayak in Kerikeri

Awesome stay! The kids had an absolute blast. We had no issues during our stay, the owner was lovely and super responsive to any questions we had. The staff at Haruru were also wonderful and welcoming. There are so many activities both on-site and in the surrounding area. We’ll definitely be booking again😊

Stunning location with a spectacular view. House was comfortable and coped very well with our group of 7, however the upstairs bedrooms need to be shared by a family as access to the bathroom was through the other bedroom. Road up to house very tricky and probably better attempted with a 4 wheel drive. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Amy's place was even nicer than the pictures! Our family of 5 loved staying in this peaceful beach community surrounded by beautiful views everywhere we turned. Cherrie was great at welcoming us and even connected us with a local kiwi expert that took us out to see kiwis in the wild, a one of a kind experience we will never forget! Our kids loved playing out on the beach and our youngest loved the toys in the kids room downstairs. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone!

Anne's place is a very pleasant, well equipped cottage with a beautiful outlook . We very much enjoyed our stay.

Kay's place was perfect for a couple of night's getaway. She was a very quick communicator and everything was as expected. She kindly left us freshly baked bread, as well as honey and apples from her property. The beds were very comfy and the whole place was well stocked and much more spacious than we expected. Kay's husband James sorted the pizza over for us and we cooked homemade pizzas. The property is private and secluded but just up a driveway from the road. Would highly recommend both the hosts and the property. Would happily stay again or suggest it to friends and family.

Lovely place to stay. Very well equipped. Great for family group of 3 generations. Great views from all rooms and always something happening on estuary. Pool table, spa , pizza oven and kayaks provided great variety of options. Highly recommend

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home just a short drive from central Kerikeri. The house is spotless, modern, and perfectly set up with everything you need. The views are stunning, and the space feels peaceful and private. The kitchen was a highlight - well equipped with everything you’d need to cook, plus a fantastic coffee machine with plenty of beans (a big bonus!). After a long hike in the area, the deep bath was the perfect way to unwind and ease sore muscles. The host was excellent - super responsive and helpful, especially when we had a question (in a panic when we arrived on a cold day) about the heat pump. Also appreciated the big TV with all the streaming apps ready to go. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave and would’ve loved to stay longer. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Kerikeri!

The bach was lovely, real kiwi bach also Toni was amazing to deal with and left clear instructions on how to get to the bach as well as checking ourselves in Had everything you possibly would need for a trip away I absolutely loved the place and such an awesome area! The beach would be perfect for kids or swimmers who aren't to confident as the waves aren't strong at all but also have the option of a short walk to the end of the beach to a big shallow area with very little to no waves I really recommend this little bach, I fell in love and definitely would stay again!!

A very lovely place to stay, this was our second visit and enjoyed it as much as the first, Its a lovely space, spotlessly clean with lovely hosts who treat you like family, the room has so many lovely thoughtful touches that make you really appreciate it, sunscreen for the beach, a lovely selection of books, lovely breakfast options, the Views are spectacular as well. Im sure we will be back!

We had such a great stay. So nice to walk straight onto the beach. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. All round a fantastic stay.

Our time at the Shearer’s cottage was absolutely magical. My husband and I stayed with our three children for three nights. We were all utterly delighted when we walked in the door - lots of excited gasps from everyone - the surroundings are gorgeous, the property is thoughtfully appointed and spotlessly clean… far enough from the madding crowd to feel peaceful and secluded, yet still a very convenient drive to Kerikeri and the Bay of Islands. Ian and Anna were very friendly and communicative and made us feel totally welcome. Allow time to make the most of this beautiful place. The dawn chorus is glorious! Make sure you opt in for the spa by the river. We really hope we can visit again. Thank you so much Ian and Anna.

Linda’s place is beautifully organised and very clean. Lovely starry nights there. I didn’t explore the surrounds as I was too busy helping set up for my sons wedding, etc. next time I’m in Rangitane I’ll visit her studio 🩵

Very easy communication. Everything was just as described. Very clean. Comfy bed. Every thing really well presented. Obviously a much loved cottage, the modern additions to such an historic home have been beautifully done without altering the essential character of such an old house. We felt privileged to been welcomed into this beautiful piece of Kohukohu's history. Would recommend breakfast on the deck to watch the sunrise. Thank you Olivia. I would love to return one day.

This was our best stay in NZ in terms of Airbnb’s and hotels. Such a beautiful, secluded spot that was everything we hoped for and more. Favorite parts was enjoying the sunsets, sitting by the water and enjoying some paddel boarding and kayaking.

Diane’s place was absolutely lovely! The service was above and beyond, the place was nice and cosy. It was super convenient being right off the highway, but so quiet you couldn’t tell. Beautiful fruit trees on the property. The hosts were available and friendly but also gave us our space.

We loved our stay at Clive's place with our 2 dogs. A cute little place metres from the water. Very peaceful and friendly neighbourhood. We loved the morning walks on the beach with our dogs and our runs over the estuary bridge to the surf beach that went for miles. Clive was really helpful with things to do and places to go. Would highly recommend Clive's place for a quiet getaway if you enjoy the outdoors.

Amazing secluded location right on the river. We loved the remote get away and the property was truly spectacular. Even though we stayed during a major storm we couldn't have had a better time on the property and exploring the gardens. Only 20 minutes from town it was still easy to access groceries and restaurants but we felt a world away from city chaos. We would love to visit Magic Cottage again !

We had an absolutely perfect winter getaway. The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful that you’re relaxed straight away. The cabin itself is gorgeous and cosy. The fire kept us super toasty warm, not cold at all. We had the best time ever paddling on the river. Couldn’t have been any better, loved it and we will definitely be booking in again!
