We needed a place to stay while we transitioned to Delaware. This was the perfect place for us. It was close to the beach, comfortable, very quite, and everyone was so friendly. We felt like we were at home even if it was a temporary stop. There was plenty of space and things we needed to make our stay smooth. Shane and Erin were helpful and wonderful hosts, they let us know of upcoming event's and if there was anything we should be aware of. I would recommend this place to couples or families. We stayed during the holidays and it felt magical to be there during this time.

This place is absolutely magical. It exceeded our (already high) expectations in every way. The beach house is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, comfortable and makes excellent use of the small space. Everything you could think of needing is there! Susan was very sweet, leaving a small welcome gift, and helpful and communicative throughout the stay if needed. It genuinely felt like we had our own private (massive) beach. It is a bay beach and Susan accurately describes it, but we were expecting hoards of bugs. We only needed bug spray one evening out of a 4-day stay. There’s tons of shorebirds, beautiful rocks, shells and sand, and there’s about a mile of beach directly north of the bungalow that’s totally undeveloped, so it feels like you’re staying IN a nature preserve. We had thought we would go out and tour some of the other nearby beaches, but ended up wanting to just stay at Kitt’s Hummock, we liked it so much! I would take another vacation *just* to stay here again.

We had a lovely time at Jenni’s place! We stayed at the house for a weekend because we had a wedding to attend close by but we wish we could have stayed longer! Location was amazing and so peaceful! We thoroughly enjoyed birdwatching and relaxing on the porch. The house itself was very spacious, and beautifully decorated! Would love to return again to explore the town and spend time at the beach!

I enjoyed this short staycation. The landlord decorated the room very carefully, making me feel warm, relaxed and at home. There is a swimming pool in the house, so you can play in the water in the summer. It is a very suitable place for family travel. The landlord responded to messages very promptly and prepared sufficient supplies.

This house was a fantastic spot for us during our stay for a field hockey tournament at the DE turf complex. The location was secluded and private, but still close to Milford and Frederica as well as local beaches. We shared the house with a teammate's family and the setup was perfect - our family of four was upstairs, and their family of 3 was downstairs. There was plenty of privacy and the living room and dining room were great for relaxing. The kitchen was spacious and well-provisioned. The house was spotless and looked brand new. The beds were comfortable and the linens were high quality. Cindy was really friendly and helpful. The house binder had a great summary of local recommendations. Highly recommend!

WOW! This place truly had it all. We decided to get our group of friends together for the long weekend and this AirBNB was everything we were looking for and more. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had all the utensils you could need to make home cooked meals. The second fridge in the coffee area was a really nice amenity when you have a large group. Having multiple rooms with king beds was a bonus when having a group of couples. The indoor pickleball court was one of our favorite things about this home. Hours were spent on the court battling it out with some friendly competition. The heated pool was perfect for relaxing & swimming. Martha was a very responsive and diligent host! Our group is already talking about re-booking for next year because of how much fun we had!

Everything was wonderful! The place was exactly as described and the home was especially clean & bright! The peace & serenity of the surrounding area was everything we needed! Cassie was a wonderful host and quick to respond to questions. TY!!

I really enjoyed my stay. Everything went smoothly with check in and check out and Margaret answered any questions I had promptly. There was one maintenance issue but it was resolved right away and did not interfere with my plans at all. The entire space was cozy and comfortable and I really enjoyed being able to take some walks in the neighborhood. It was a nice, quiet place to come back to after work and relax.

We stayed one night on our way to the Outer Banks and really liked it. As others have mentioned, the place is perfect—charming, clean, and thoughtfully set up with everything you might need. It was a peaceful stopover and gave us a great start to our trip. Elaine was responsive, welcoming, and made the whole process seamless. Highly recommend!

I loved my month long stay here! It was such a pleasure to meet Ruthie and I couldn’t have felt more at home. The space was very clean upon arrival and I quickly settled in. Loved coming home and seeing the horses in the front yard, no complaints whatsoever. It definitely exceed my expectations!

this gem won't be there long

We booked Erma's place for our birdwatching adventure. I had the master bedroom, which was large with comfy bed. My sister slept well on the futon in the second bedroom. Although she sometimes heard people walking around upstairs, their schedules aligned with ours, early to bed and early to rise. Then they were off to work and we went birding at the many wildlife refuges available. We cooked in the small kitchen, with plentiful supplies and condiments, and picked up groceries at Bylers and other nearby stores. The living room was large and comfortable. The large bathroom was conveniently off the living room. Since it was a little chilly with the ac on upstairs, we simply followed the instructions to close the vent and we were fine. Parking was convenient, and we sometimes hung out in the peaceful backyard, occasionally walking over to see the chickens. Erma responded promptly to any questions that I texted.
