We stayed twice last summer, and now again this summer. Wonderful home with everything you can think of available. Super clean, beautiful deck and yard, convenient dock out front for the boat. Great local restaurants. Everyone so friendly. 100% recommend.

Allie was a fantastic host. Couldn’t be happier with the space during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Very clean and spacious. Hosts were very responsive, but we also didn’t have any issues with the accommodations that required support. Location is very close to downtown Kenora, amenities like the Rec Centre, groceries, etc - walkable within minutes.

It’s a beautiful old-feel type of home. We felt right at home. The yard was big and my two year old loved it. It felt like ours for a short time, can’t wait to come back again this year!

We stayed at Craig's place in Geraldton for four weeks when we worked with educators from a nearby school. While the amenities in Geraldton are somewhat limited, the location of Craig's place allowed for us to easily access what was nearby, including a few restaurants and the grocery store. We were very pleased with all that Craig's location had to offer, including ample space for our team to gather together, as well as spend time apart. It was very convenient having the in-suite washer/dryer and the outdoor space was fantastic (even in the colder weather!) Craig was also a very responsive host! Would recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Geraldton for an extended period of time.

Clean place, easy to find and get inside. Nothing to complain about. Would be nice to have a hair dryer available for those who needs one.

Amazing hosts sharing their beautiful home. Beautiful views of the lake, amazing fishing, everything you could possibly need is in this home. So clean, so much space to spend with family and relax. We love and cherish every moment. Cant wait to go back next year!

Our stay at Joels cabin was excellent. Everything was as described. There were no surprises.The cabin was very clean and well stocked with the amenities that we needed. The view from the cabin and deck was beautiful, looking out onto the clear water of Crow Lake and the Canadian Shield. Our morning coffee’s on the deck were peaceful and oh so enjoyable. Having a boat launch and boat docking space in a protected inlet that was viewable from the cabin, not only was a great convenience, but also added a nice sense of security in being able to keep an eye on our boat. The cabin is situated on a lake that has the most clear, clean water. Fishing was great right on Crow Lake for lake trout and bass. The cabin is also in close proximity to Lake of Woods, which is just across the highway. Lots of walleye, bass and crappie if that’s what you’re after. Joel, his wife and their dog Annie were excellent, gracious hosts. They afforded you your privacy, but were right there if anything was needed.

Can’t say enough about this rustic cabin getaway. It’s located on beautiful lake. It was quiet and peaceful. Brant was an amazing host, and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful couple of days. I highly recommend this little slice of heaven!

Sarah's place was beautiful. She was very responsive and everything was really easy and clear from check-in to check-out. The view from the house was incredible, everything was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable- the linens were super nice and felt luxurious. There was a personalized note and local goodies for us upon check-in and she was very helpful even after our stay when we had questions about items we left behind. The location was easy to find and get to and was close to places we wanted to go. Would absolutely recommend, worth every cent!

If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy the view of the lake with the sound of the loons you are at the right cottage and bonus if the weather is nice in the month of September.

We loved staying here! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The lake view was beautiful. We did a lot of exploring outside the campground and it was nice to have such a peaceful place to come back to. Graham was a great host and answered any questions we had almost immediately. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back this way!

Our cabin at the Citadel Retreat was perfect as a north country outpost. It was well put together, not overly furnished but perfectly equipped for being comfortable during our multi-day stay. Grahame is a delight to communicate and work with -- super knowledgeable, always to the point + fun. We enjoyed exploring Pinus Lake by canoe and also visiting other sights in the area via a short drive. One shouldn't come to the Citadel if one's expectation is for a degree of pampering in the arrangements .. but if you're up for being comfortable + in close touch with the lake country environment this is a great place to be.

We just spent 2 wonderful weeks at the Storm Bay cottage. Mark and Faye are great hosts. Mark gave us easy driving instructions, met us on arrival and took the time to show us around. He was also easy to reach when we had a question. Everything about the place was great - the location (close to Kenora for supplies but also private), the house, the boathouse (it's spectacular!), the view, the fishing and especially the sunsets. It's so peaceful and quiet and the fishing was great. We came with a couple of boats but we even caught fish from the dock. When on shore we lacked for absolutely nothing. The kitchen was the best equipped we've ever seen. We didn't use the hot tub or the sauna but I enjoyed having the piano. We were a small group of 4 but there is plenty of room for a very large group on shore and on 2 nearby islands, King and Sunset. We've been coming to LOTW for 40 years and THIS WAS OUR BEST STAY. We can't wait to come back to our favorite place on our favorite lake.

Excellent little spot to stay while working in the area. After too many hotels and motels, this tent was the perfect change up! Beautiful morning view of the lake from the deck. Host was super friendly and professional.

We were truly impressed by this charming and affordable cabin! It offers both privacy and lovely views of the lake. One of the standout features is the ability to bring along your furry friend, which is a huge bonus for pet lovers. The outdoor hot tubs, available for use around the clock, were an added bonus. The cabin is cozy, it is perfectly equipped for two adults and a medium-sized dog, ensuring a comfortable stay. The deck is ideal for barbecuing and soaking up the sunshine. Overall, we were very happy - it checked all the boxes for a memorable getaway!

The Citadel is on one of the most peaceful and beautiful lakes we’ve ever seen in lake of the woods. Loved the multiple docks that provide some extra privacy and the sauna and hot tub are fun perks. Grahame is a great host who’s always on hand to help out.

The lodge was a perfect place for myself and friends to stay, it was very easy to check in and out, everything inside was clean and there’s alot of space. There’s kayaks and canoes to rent and they’re set up for you in the morning right on the docks that you can also swim right off of. Very reasonably priced and I’m sure I’ll be back!
