Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kenmare

This house was just as described, newly renovated and a couple minutes drive outside of Kenmare. It was so peacefully quiet at night and we had some adorable, young cow neighbors who entertained us while we had our morning coffee. The location was perfect for our trips around the Dingle, Iveragh and Beara peninsulas, and the restaurants in Kenmare were fantastic. Helen and Chloe were welcoming hosts and made check-in and -out effortless. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a delightful place to stay in Kenmare. Private but within minutes of walking to Kenmares shops, pubs etc. Spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Plenty of parking space. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Cathrine’s. Lovely place and great host. We will recommend the location to friends and family.

Superb little cottage just off the main street. It had everything you'd need for an away break, and a nice touch to have some milk and butter in the fridge for us. We were blessed with good weather and the little patio area out the front is a suntrap for the majority of the day. We've already decided that, when we do come back to Kenmare, we'll try to stay here.

We had 3 wonderful night & days here. Welcomed by an open fire on the first night which was perfect as we arrived late. We enjoyed the beautiful setting of the house and gardens so much we didn't want to leave. Although we only came from Cork it felt a world away! We'd love to come back soon.

Gorgeous peaceful location with stunning views of Kenmare Bay. Lovely to watch birds at their feeder on the patio. The house is extremely comfortable with walls decorated with charming prints and landscapes. Enjoyed the welcome pack - barm brack, brown bread and jam - with vase of flowers. Thank you Jim.

Brilliant stay at a lovely house by the water, with lovely rooms and nice open kitchen-living space. Lovely outside spaces if you are lucky with the weather. Anne was super responsive and very helpful with local recommendations. Highly recommended for anyone in visiting the area.

Stunning view and adorable cottage with everything you need. Super close to Gap of Dunloe which has been the highlight of our trip so far!

Fantastic stay!! House was amazing, everything you needed was there and then some. Spotless. Darina and Paul were perfect hosts but gave you privacy aswell. We were doing the wild atlantic way on a motorbike, ideal for washing clothes. Comfy beds and bedrooms. Ideal place to stay. Thanks

Fantastic Accommodation. Beautiful , spacious and bright. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. Was truly like home from home. Beautiful scenery from our bedroom and living room, overlooking the mountains. It was so peaceful. We used as a base for visiting family in the surrounding area, and it was perfect. We met Anne, who was so warm & friendly, honesty couldn't do enough for us. Orla was friendly & helpful , she got back to us promptly with queries we had & information regarding our stsy. We got great directions on how to find the apartment. A short drive from Glengarriff town with pubs & restaurants. I would recommend Davitts restaurant & Thee Olive Tree in Kenmare for a lovely meal, but you will need to book in advance as it's very busy. John was communicative and helpful from the get go. His place was easy to find and access. As others have said it is in the heart of the town, making it close to everything, but also a bit loud on a weekend - a white noise machine took care of all that though. Great spot and very convenient!

Gerard’s place was off the beaten path which is just what we were looking for. The drive there and the views at the studio were amazing. The studio was very cozy and had all the cooking utensils we needed. There were plenty of friendly sheep and we even got to feed some. That was a lot of fun. Gerard is super friendly and nice to chat with. We would stay here again!

Mary is a lovely host, good communication and really clear instructions. The apartment was spotless and really comfortable. Great powerful shower too! Perfect location as part of our Wild Atlantic Way road trip.

Lovely apartment, clean and comfortable. The perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Julie even left us some bread, eggs and other goodies which was a nice surprise. Highly recommend

A cosy but spacious little nest surrounded by gorgeous scenery The location is absolutely fantastic as it is so close to the town center of Killarney, the entrance to the ring of Kerry and an hour away from Dingle, which was our next stop Mike and Sinead were the most amazing hosts as they provided us with lots of information and recommendations Highly recommend

What can we say . We got there very late on the Friday night well it was after midnight night . Where we were meet by a very pleasant host . Showed us around where we were staying . Very clean and warm even give us some milk for a cuppa. The places is set in a beautiful setting .

Aidan was very friendly and communicated well. The space was very clean and centrally located; would certainly recommend!!

We rented John's place for 5 nights and couldn't have been happier. It was perfect for our needs and was close to many attractions. It was very clean and bright and John was a great host. He even made us homemade cookies!

We enjoyed our stay at John’s. He and Claire were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed making simple meals with the delicious lamb and fresh salmon available in town. Also having laundry facilities was fantastic, easy to use machines. Great view from our window, but we were sorry to miss the donkey s, they were elsewhere. A side note: The bedding in Ireland is interesting. Every bnb we stayed in (4) had one duvet and no top sheet. We found them to be too warm everywhere we went. But that’s no shade on the bnb. Just the way things are done, I guess.

A very good experience in a welcoming accommodation close to the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. Joanna was very welcoming, very kind and the exchange was very easy and friendly. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Marion's apartment is as described, on the second floor of a pub. She mentioned that it could be noisy, but it wasn't, we slept very well. We went to the pub for a few pints, and the neighborhood is very friendly. It was nice to wake up and see the lambs outside the window. The apartment was spotless, the kitchen has everything you need, and she kindly left everything for a great breakfast. We would highly recommend Marion's apartment and hope to return soon.
