My favorite Airbnb ever, great atmosphere, great people, very clean, very friendly!

Great location and beautiful view! I’m glad they mentioned stairs - be prepared if you select this place. Very quiet and cozy. A little clunky getting into the place at first regarding the bottom door lock but they responded and acted quickly!

Wow, what a great vacation! We could not have asked for anything more. Our hosts, Sarah, Roly, and Marilyn, took such great care of us from the time we arrived, until the day we left. Our apartment was as advertised, and set the perfect location for a great fishing trip. The river access was excellent, just a brief walk to the platform. The fish cleaning station was well lit, and very clean. There are vacuum sealers for your use to preserve your fish and several deep freezers to store your daily catch in until you leave. We were minutes from Fred Meyers, and Safeway, as well as some great places to eat. If you go, be sure to eat at Mykels, and the Acapulco. We are so looking forward to returning, and would highly recommend this property for your ultimate fishing experience, or just an amazing getaway.

Sue and Mike are very friendly and accommodating! The house is modern, clean, roomy and beautifully decorated. The hosts have it well stocked and have thought of everything to make it feel homey. The pictures don’t do it justice! Fishing on the Kenai was a blast. Most of us caught our limit daily. Would definitely go back!! Thank you soooo much for sharing your amazing home, Sue and Mike!

Pauline was such a generous and kind host and it was everything she described and more. We were so blessed by the peaceful settings and the very comfortable home with so many small extras that made you feel welcome! Do not hesitate to choose to stay here. It is wonderful!

We loved our stay here and felt at home. The location is unbeatable and the apartment has all amenities for a pleasant stay. Thank you, Bryan, for offering up this magical spot for guests. We hope we get another chance to stay there. Fishing for world class salmon just steps from the property was an incredible experience!

The apartment was squeaky clean, new, quiet, had all the amenities you need and beautiful surroundings. Much nicer than pictures looked online. Very cozy & comfortable

Gary’s place is very special and located above the Kasilof river with incredible views. We could hardly leave our seats in front of the windows watching soaring eagles, moose and fisherman trying for salmon. This airbnb is one in a million.

Hideaway Lake House was a gem. The view of the lake and the layout of the house was great. Felt like our very own cabin on the lake. Really enjoyed taking the canoe out of the lake. Special place.

Amber was amazing! We communicated periodically for several months before our stay, about things to do, amenities at the home, and other trip-related matters. Amber was always super responsive and went above and beyond. The hot tub was incredible, especially with the gorgeous lake view, and it was nice to be able to grill dinner each night on the back deck. There was plenty of room for the six of us, and we all felt right at home. For those interested in fishing, the place is situated about halfway between the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers and between Seward and Homer. There is also a freezer on the back deck for storing fish, as well as an excellent processor up the road in Soldotna (Tanner’s). The kitchen was supplied with everything but your food (spices, pots and pans, utensils, etc.), and the washer & dryer came in very handy. I could go on and on, but I’ll just end by saying that we would 100% stay with Amber again if we’re back on the peninsula.

This home was cute convenient and perfect for a long weekend for our family. Thank you so much.

the cabin was a great place to stay with my 2 grown grandsons and son for a fishing adventure in alaska. have rented other cabins in soldotna in previous years but this one stands way out in front. the cabin was well stocked, clean and beds were comfortable. the view of the lake was spectacular. based on my recommendation one of my friends has booked a cabin at the lake for next year.

Place was beautiful and just as described. Great place to relax with the family inside or out. Everything you need is provided. Host was always responsive and friendly. Can’t recommend enough.

Great location and beautiful view on a clear day. Your right on the ocean and just a short walk to the large beach. The 2 bathrooms can make it uninviting to larger groups but really that is the only downside as there is lots of room throughout the house.

We stayed here from September through December and we LOVED it. So quiet and peaceful and being above the river never gets old. I could sit in the living room by the fireplace and watch eagles soar by the windows all day. The house has everything you’d need and Rachel is a fabulous host. She was quick to respond and made the whole stay amazing.
