Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Kawartha Lakes

Had a great stay at Farah's cottage. The place was exactly as described and had some decorative touches which made the cottage even nicer. The river is fun to paddle on and neighbours were friendly. Everyone keeps at reduced boat speed so swimming was safe as long as you have a bouy with you. We enjoyed the paddle boards, bonfire outside and hot showers at the end of the day. Farah was lovely to communicate with & reliable.

This is our third year at this beautiful Bobcaygeon getaway house. The hostess is amazing, always accommodating and super friendly. The house is as advertised with a cute Tiki hut and dock for our boat. Thank you Lisa.

This place was SO beautiful! Everything is new and well maintained. The interior is gorgeous. The fireplace and living room have such a nice ambience; cozy and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were squeaky clean and very presentable too. Staying here for the weekend was exactly the mini staycation we needed. The cottage is stocked with everything you may need! Hot tub was amazing too. Can't say enough great things & we'll definitely be back. Hosts were quick to respond as well 😊 best part: our dog enjoyed his stay also!

My husband and I had a great stay at Daniel’s place. Took advantage of the fire pit and peddle boat and the peaceful surrounding. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends.

I stayed at Sophia/Shahazad's place over the weekend with my extended family, which includes three toddlers and a newborn. We had an amazing time! Everything was perfect, from the sleeping arrangements to the indoor saltwater pool. We didn't even get to sit outside and enjoy the bonfire or BBQ because we were so busy having fun in the pool and sitting to catch up in the amazing open concept kitchen/dining area. All the bedrooms have full bathrooms, which was huge since we had a family stay in each room and they needed that privacy. We are already looking to come back as soon as possible!

Amazing place ! Very clean! This place is private and peaceful! My dog enjoyed running out in the back! We enjoyed the pool! Kunal was responsive to anything we needed or had questions about. Will definitely be staying here again!

Exactly as advertised and perfectly suited to time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Lots of amenities and steps from the dock which overlooks Sturgeon Lake.. You'll appreciate the beautiful sunsets and great walking options. A short drive to restaurants and shopping. Kayleigh was a great host and makes this destination an absolutely easy place to want to come back to.

I was very skeptical booking this place as it looks like its a new listing but I'm so glad we did book it. My family and I had a great time at this cottage! Plenty of space and lots to do for kids and adults. Amenities were all helpful and functioning. You get a heated pool, kayaks and a hot tub. Beds and couches were also very comfortable. Mohammad was very responsive and helpful with all our questions. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning our next stay at this place. Thank you Mohammad!

Thank you so much for the attention Ring and his wife gave to us as they welcomed us and made us feel right at home. They kindly brought a little heater for my Mom who was feeling chilly. They responded very quickly and helped us in anyway we needed. I would highly recommend this place.

(This review was written by my wife, Tami) As we drove up the secluded lane that led into the enchanted forest we knew that we had found a gem.The cottage was charming & spotless with a huge deck that set high up in the trees. The sauna & hot tub provided pure relaxation at the end of our days. The dock was huge with comfortable seating, we even had 2 loons gliding by each day! We hiked to waterfalls, fished & took the canoe for a paddle. Our pups loved our daily adventures! Mark was the perfect host & easy to contact if needed. My husband and I, along with our two adventurous pups, absolutely loved our cozy cottage escape in the Kawarthas! This place had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of privacy, even in a small neighborhood—those tall bushes really made it feel like our own little hideaway. Our dogs were in heaven, running around the beautifully manicured backyard with plenty of space to explore. Inside, the cottage was just as charming, with adorable, cozy bedrooms and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed, whether we were grilling outside or whipping up a delicious meal indoors. The kitchen appliances were spotless and felt brand new. And the view from the living room? Simply stunning! We spent countless hours just soaking in the beautiful lakeside scenery right from the comfort of the couch. Although we didn’t get as much fishing in as we’d hoped, we’re already planning our next trip back! Big thanks to Mel & Stu!

Well, this is just the cutest cottage I have ever rented! It's nice to go to a new place but it adds something when the place itself is interesting. Kimberley checked in with us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed, very considerate. We love the little touches, a little notes and just the all-around cuteness of this Cottage. Being on the water was a fantastic, having the paddle board, kayak and canoe was amazing. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there, lots of extra pillows and blankets and everything was easy to find. It's a 10!

The cottage was well furnished with modern appliances and amenities. We enjoyed lounging, barbecuing and eating on the back deck which got plenty of sunlight throughout the day. At nighttime, there is a firepit with seating by the waters edge where you can watch the sunset and stargaze. It's located on a calm spot of Cameron lake, which itself is very shallow and sandy, so great for swimming. The provided kayaks and stand-up paddleboard are great amenities which allow you to explore the lake. The location is also very close to town (~3 min drive), where you can find a brewery, a couple restaurants and little shops. Would stay again!

Another great stay at Richard’s!!! Highly recommend this place!!! Always super clean and this time of year so nice to sit outside and listen to the birds and even seen some rabbits hop along!! Will Deff be back again!!

I booked a weekend here with my wife for our 25th anniversary getaway. This was a beautiful area. I didn’t do any fishing but there is walleye and musky in the river behind the cottage. The dock to fish from is great. We took our SxS to go trail riding. Access to the trails is very close with only about 3 minutes of road riding to get on. Lots of parking for my trailer, SxS and truck. I could have fit 2 or 3 more vehicles. The place is clean, and the hosts were very responsive with any questions I had thru the app. This was my first time using air bnb and it did not disappoint. We are thinking about booking this place again next year and bringing our in-laws. The pictures don’t quite do it justice. Sitting on the dock at night while the sun goes down was my favorite part. It was so quiet and peaceful. Thanks again for the great visit!!! You are doing a fantastic job with this property.
