Birken Cottage - Vacation in the Herbsthausen sawmill

Our three one-room apartments — Ahorn, Linde, and Birke — combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with contemporary design. Each apartment is completely unique and has been modernized by us. They offer space for two to three people each. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen”, an cultural project in the town of Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill and transforming it into a future-oriented place for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and relaxation.

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Tiny wooden house near the lake

The house is located 500 m from Lake Arendsee on the edge of the quiet bungalow estate. 5 min walk to Lake Arendsee, so absolutely close to the lake. The tiny house has a total of 44 sqm plus sauna (extra charge). It is fully equipped with a kitchenette, dishwasher, oven and stove, dining table and a cozy living room corner with smart TV. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the house. The house is cozy and open with large windows. It is heated with modern underfloor heating.

Modern apartment to feel good in Salzwedel

Our 35 sqm apartment was modernized and designed in 2019. It looks bright and friendly as a result. The furnishings are functional, but also comfortable. You can reach the apartment behind the house via a staircase. The entrance is separate and is located on the upper floor of our single-family house built in 2010. The house is situated in beautiful green surroundings not far from the Dumme river, yet you can walk to the idyllic old town of Salzwedel in just a few minutes.

Experience pure relaxation and deceleration in the idyllic Westprignitz. Embedded in a species-rich natural landscape, our vacation home offers everything for a relaxing vacation – including a large garden and direct access to the water. The perfect getaway for nature lovers, families and friends, cyclists and those seeking relaxation.

Tiny house with sauna and meditation offer

During your stay with us you will live in a lovingly restored, spacious construction trailer with terrace and garden area. It is also set up for long stays. In winter, it is heated with wood and briquettes and it quickly becomes cozy and warm. Running cold water is only available in the trailer during the frost-free period! Horses can be brought along, 1 hectare. coupling directly on the trailer. The bathroom area and sauna are 50 m from the main house.

In a unique environment, this place invites you to relax and enjoy. The listed historic stable building from 1859 was completely renovated in 2022 and now meets the highest standards. Ground level, at 62 sqm, this place is perfect for couples. On cool days, the fireplace provides coziness, on warm days, the terrace invites you to sunbathe. Surrounded by the unique cottage in the historic Rundling of listed buildings and a lot of nature.

Country loft in a circular village

We welcome you to the beautiful and historic Rundlingsdorf Satemin in Wendland. The former farmhouse from 1850 is divided into two residential units. The property is located in the former 110 m² commercial part and spacious tiled area. From there you have a sheltered view of the village square with the old half-timbered houses. On the lovingly planted courtyard with cobblestones there is another small stable building and a rear barn.

Wave to the ships from the window - and take a walk along the Elbe. Or relax. Or cycle along the Elbe cycle path. Or explore the lake lowland with its many wild birds. Or, or... this apartment is perfect for nature lovers. If you are looking for peace and love the Elbe, this is the place to be. The perfect place to retreat, focus on projects (fiber optic connection available) - or simply relax and enjoy nature.

Apartment on the Nemitz Heath

In the heart of Trebel, between Lüchow and Gartow, lies the apartment "Prior". The duplex apartment can accommodate up to three people. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed, in the living room there is a pull-out couch. A bathroom is of course also available with all the necessary comfort. The kitchen and dining area complete the offer. The fenced garden is also ideal for pets.

Relax on the small pony farm

Enjoy a great time on our private farm with our horses/ponies. There are two bedrooms, a large living room with dining table, a small but well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub.
