The cabin is idyllically located with panoramic views of the beautiful village of Førde, the fjord and even a lot longer. Even though the cabin lies by itself practically on a pile, lay it on a farmer's yard, cows sheep and lambs in the vicinity. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.
