You will be staying in a comfortable, fully furnished holiday home, the "Dashuis". The house is next to our private house and has a private entrance. You have your own, enclosed terrace with plenty of privacy. In the immediate vicinity, there is a good chance that you will encounter deer or a kingfisher. The location is in a natural area with spacious walking and cycling possibilities. Cities are easily accessible, Leeuwarden 30 min., Groningen 40 min. A direct bus to Heerenveen with, among other things, the Thialf ice stadium.

Bicycles available! There are also beautiful ATB routes nearby that you can try out. You can do shopping in the village itself. If you are looking for a larger shopping center, Gorredijk (known for Rinsma modeplein) Sportstad/Thialf Heerenveen, Drachten, Leeuwarden, and Sneek are also easy to drive to.

A walk has so started in the opposite park-like Molenbosch. With the free bicycles you can explore the wooded, rural area via all kinds of routes. A place to unwind!

Oranjewoud is centrally located in Friesland and is a great base to discover Friesland, the Frisian 11 cities, Frisian lakes, Wadden Islands, etc. And a wonderful place for cyclists, hikers and runners. What a lovely stay in such a charming village. I was there to look at horses and found this to be an extremely comfortable and charming accommodations after a drive through the tulip fields on the way north. Highly recommend! Also took a jog through the countryside which was a memorable stroll!!

We had a wonderful weekend. D3 garden/outdoor area was super nice. The location is right on a river where you have a jetty. Everything was super uncomplicated! The host is super friendly and responds super quickly. Definitely recommend.

It was wonderful and what a beautiful location. My idea to have some time for myself has certainly succeeded. Upon arrival, I immediately felt a kind of calm come over me. There was also peace and space inside the cottage. The contact with Yasmijn was pleasant and I felt right at home and free to do what was good for me. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay and who knows, see you soon.
